Family run restaurant 46 years in a row. Very good service, calm and with good execution. Clearly explain everything to you in English if needed. The food is EXCELLENT - well made, always hot and made with care. This is like going to a chef friend's house and eating at their home.

My family and I ate at Da Emilio on the last night of an 9 day vacation in Rome. I decided to give Da Emilio a try due to its proximity to the apartment we were staying at. In short, it is a neighborhood restaurant. Nothing fancy, just good food at reasonable price. We came shortly after it opened and... More

Excellent food in the restaurant that has a long history behind it. Not a luxury place because it is mostly for locals. Have been there a couple of times and locals took me there and this says it all.

Da Emilio came highly recommended and whilst the food was good it was fairly disappointing in terms of the overall experience. Low point was the two street vendors that were allowed to come in and hawk their wares at the tables. We thought this very inappropriate and couldn't believe it was deemed to be acceptable by the owners. Not a... More

Great food, very nice and welcoming staff. Family restaurant with authentic Italian cuisine! Mainly locals there although menu was translated in English and French.

We'd arrived in Rome from Australia five hours earlier, and this local trattoria was recommended by our hotel, the Palm Gallery. When we arrived about 6:45pm, it was almost empty - within 30 mins it was full of local Italians and the place was buzzing. Two main courses, two deserts, bread, sparkling water, palate cleansers and a house white wine... More

What a wonderful place for dinner. The food was amazing, especially the artichoke fettuccine. Service was impeccable yet friendly. The house red wine was not the usual plonk. Highly recommend this place to experience Rome.

This restaurant is worth a visit. The family driven restaurant serves classic Roman dished and they do it with passion. We got some of the most delicious and tastefull meals we ever had in Rome.
