If you want a true Roman culinary experience, you will not go wrong here. Squeeze into this traditional, family-run restaurant and ENJOY. Just be patient. You will have to wait to get a table, but it will be worth it.

Absolutely gorgeous place - the meal was the best we’d had on our trip to Rome. Very reasonably priced and the service was lovely! Highly recommend this place, understandable as to why it always has queues. Highly recommend the burrata and cacio e pepe!

Ate here as part of a food tour and the food was out of this world. This is a trattoria that I will be back to as soon as I can.

Found Da Enzo through TripAdvisor. Best food and pasta in Rome - had carciofo (artichoke) simply grilled with salt and olive oil, which I am still thinking about(!) followed by a perfect cacio e pepe pasta. Simple but everything is done to understated perfection. Loved...More

It’s cramped, crowded, and noisy. They don’t take reservations (except for 7:30) so you may end up waiting with the crowd in the street for 45 minutes to an hour to get in. And it’s worth it. While the service may be a bit frenetic...More

We were able to enjoy a relaxing dinner shortly after the restaurant opened even though we did not have a reservation. Showed up about 15 mins prior to them opening and was able to get seated for 4. Best Cacio de Pepe in town as...More

This restaurant was recommended to us by locals. When we arrived there was already a huuuge crowd of people waiting for a table. (No reservations) So we waited, and waited... for 90 minutes. I was so hungry by the time we were seated that I'm...More

We went back here for lunch having done a tasting session on a food tour the night before. We got very lucky with timing as there was a table available just as we arrived. If we had missed the boat then it looked like an...More

Trastevere ("beyond the Tiber") is like a faded
postcard, a little worn around the edges but still
charming. With its wide-open piazzas, meandering
streets, weathered Renaissance buildings, and
overgrown personality, it's become an irresistible
mecca for visitors. Trastevere is an enclave of
entertainment - a rotating set of street performers
entertains almost every night, and unforgettable

We were there on September 15 and business was booming. Call the restaurant directly and make a reservation. Regardless what you’ve read on here, they make reservations, but I believe only a few per day.
