Decor is nice touch and about the only thing that made our evening pleasant. Although the ambiance could have been improved had the music been a tad louder. Despite being nice enough waiters the service is slow and lazy. Plates not cleared, drinks not offered,...More

Gorgeous food, gorgeous wine, impeccable service and reasonably priced. Apparently there's swing dancing on the weekends? The vibe and music are there on weeknights, but it's not too busy, especially before 9PM. Would go back in an instant for their delicately plated caprese salad, featuring...More

I loved the interior of this restaurant and it all looks so fresh and new. Good value although we were stuffed after the starters. Food was nice but disappointing that one of our starters was wrong and we had to ask a second time for...More

My husband and if went toNew Station for dinner. We liked the funky "roaring twenties" decor. The focaccia was excellent -- the best yet in Rome. Service was quick and friendly. My husband had the mixed grill -- the sausage was very good, the chicken...More

One of the things about restaurants in Rome is that they open around 7:00 PM or as late as 8:00 PM. While the real reason we ate three times at the New Station was the great food, the 6:30 open time was great for us...More

We decided to try this restaurant which was close to our hotel and enjoyed the atmosphere and food. A couple of days later we went back and were recognised (hopefully not for negative reasons!) and welcomed. This certainly added to our enjoyment of our visit....More

This was right down the street from our B and B, and close to the Trastevere train station. They had a good selection of vegetarian and vegan foods. Looks like they have live music but we were too early!

The place is very charming and cozy, very well decorated and comfortable. The food is eexcellent as well as the service and attendants. Prices are very reasonable according to the quality. Location is good, especially at night.

Above the city on the Janiculum hill, Monteverde is
Rome’s popular "getaway" neighbourhood, coveted for

enough away from the centre to feel like you’re on a
Roman holiday and close enough to feel the lure of
Rome's chaos. Though its downside is the lack of
