I ate very good pasta here! Good al matriciana and all cheese pizza. House white wine also good and prices pretty ok in comparison with the rest in the neighbourhood

Thank you for caring enough to be so helpful to us when I was not well. My partner came looking for a meal and some fresh fruit for me, and the sous chef prepared especially, then directed him personally to the best pharmacy for some medication. I cannot thank you guys enough for being so helpful and caring - a... More

Loved this out of the way restaurant. We ate outside on a warm sunny Sat eve...we hadn't booked and they fitted us in - 5 of us. No English on menus, so waiter v helpful and 'invented' a couple of meals for my teenagers asking what they liked and said leave it with him. Italy as you think it should... More

Stumbled across this restaurant down a dark back street and was glad we did. We ate in the courtyard and found the staff attentive and the prices very reasonable, the caprese was well presented, the fillet steak large and well cooked, my tuna was fine for me but may be served a little rare for some people. Jus beware that... More

We were staying at the hotel this is at the back of and thought this was the hotel restaurant. We eventually found it was a separate restaurant. We had mains and dessert and drinks and it was very reasonable. I had the calzone and it was delish.

Don't miss this jewel of restaurants!!!! It is the favorite of the Italian locals. Everything in the menu is outstanding! The best roman specialties, the best pizzas. The beautiful patio is a dream and the interior dining room elegantly appointed, yet very reasonably priced.

Nice restaurant in a quiet place. Good pasta as it should be - ardente - not too soft. The deserts are not the strongest feature, tiramisu is too small.

The Cloister Restaurant is a pretty location in the heart of the city, near the Basilica of Santa Maria Maggiore, a short walk from Termini Station.
The property is set in the frame of the historical Rione Monti, has ample parking, a nice garden, and rooms are spacious and comfortable.
The cooking, in particular, concerned about the quality of its raw materials, while respecting their seasonal nature, combines the dishes of local food culture and regional culinary refined and interpreted in an original way: starting from the appetizers, the delicious first, the selected meats, pizzas up to naturally rise for 72 hours and cooked in a wood oven.
The restaurant offers several solutions: customizable menus, tasting menu, pizza menu, lunch / dinner buffet. The service, polite and nice, awaits you every day for lunch and dinner or any time to break out of your day.
