My wife and her parents had been here years ago and they had loved it. She suggested we should try together this time. What a warm welcome! What a modest and well arranged menu. You immediately see it's a family run restaurant and you will be treated sincerely, and that's what we all miss a lot these days, right? My... More

This is a restaurant we try to visit every time we are in Rome. It is a home experience in the middle of touristic meals. The food is simple and always delicious. Made at home, served at home. Thank you for staying the way you are.

Great restaurant, great city. Lovely atmosphere and attentive service. Ample portions of simple but delicious traditional Italian food. The pasta with truffles is decadent and just delicious.

This is a restaurant not to be missed when you are in Rome. It is small and inviting – I think there are 6 tables. Both Alfredo and Ada are gone now. Their grand-daughter, Chiara, is now carrying on their tradition of freshly prepared, homemade food and friendly service. They will only take reservations for parties of 6 or more.... More

Little cozy restaurant with charming oldfashioned atmosphere and delicious meals. We had the beef stew and cod in tomato sauce as well as the aubergines ala parmigliana. All three dishes really really good. Service very nice and fast and reasonable price. End up with the sweet on the house. Very very recommendable

Arrived just after opening and its lucky we did as it was soon full! The service was great, very friendly. Small menu choice which was talked through. All of the options sounded great. The food was delicious, we had several courses with wine. Very reasonably priced.

This restaurant was certainly a highlight of our trip to Rome! We were a bit surprised by the just 5-6 tables inside, but as it looked like a local place we decided to give it a try. Absolutely amazing! The chicken with mozzarella and balsamic was the best we had in Italy, and the pasta was just as enjoyable. I... More

This small family run place offers a simple honest Italian meal with typical Roman fare. While there is generally a line, it's worth a little wait as it's somehow avoided the air of tourism. I have been walking past Alfredo and Ada's for years and always avoided going in because I was afraid it might be a trap. I'm glad... More

We had to wait some time for a table but the food was worth it. The place is small and cozy and the price accesible. Will come back
