The pasta and cafe latte are the best I had in Italy. It might take some time to be served, but it really worths waiting.

Really nothing special about the food. Place is a bit dirty, (table cloth, cutlery and glasses) This is typically a tourist place.

We had some fresh pasta and grilled lamb. Both were good. The reputation of the owner as cranky held up. When we finished, she came over and asked us if we were finished. Our yes brought out her thumb, motioning us to get up and...More

Having spent the last month traveling this was my most enjoyable meal yet. Good home style food that was delicious and well priced. Doesn’t pretend to be anything it’s not just good food and nice service.

Trattoria Dell'OMO Via Vicenza, 18, 00185 Roma RM Love this Trattoria (informal restaurant)!! This is the Italian trattoria that reminds us of the inherent differences between Italian and British culture, in that relaxed informal, accessible dining with superbly tasty authentic food doesn’t really exist for...More

This place was nothing fancy but the food was delicious with lots of flavour and the service was exceptional. This place was filled with old school Italian tradition. I got the gnocchi and tiramisu. The tiramisu was that good that I got two!

Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only
way to describe the Esquilino neighbourhood. The
Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas
in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s
famous seven hills. From an ancient neighbourhood to
its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub,
Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot
vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up
