We stopped here on our second of four nights at the Donatello Hotel (a short walk). Yummy, authentic and inexpensive. We had such a good meal that we came back again the next night. The bufalo cheese app was outstanding; the pizza crisp and delicious;...More

Arguably my best authentic meal in this area of the city. Finally a menu which is not completely overloaded. The owner's belly is as round as the food is good. We sat down Friday evening. We sat down again Sunday evening.

Walking in the area looking for a quiet dinner at 8pm. Found this around the corner from some more touristic restaurants and decided to give it a try. We made a great choice, small, but authentic menu, great pasta, delicious lamb all crabresa, very friendly...More

Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only
way to describe the Esquilino neighbourhood. The
Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas
in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s
famous seven hills. From an ancient neighbourhood to
its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub,
Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot
vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up
