Francecsco did good job carrying us pizza and red wine. After long drive and flights to Rome it was just fine. If you want Hilton-like service, go to Hilton.

This was our least favourite meal. We ate here on the first night and we were both tired and didn't want to go too far. The tables were outside which was nice, the menu has Italian and English. For pasta you choose the shape and...More

They sent out the wrong dish and tried to convince us that we couldn't read Italian menus. Also had to repeatedly ask for the last course when it wasn't busy and even the chef was hanging out in the dinning room.

Sadly disappointed. Just arrived in Rome and went to the closest restaurant from the hotel. Should have done more research or asked the receptionist at the hotel for their recommendation. Had a gristle filled steak on a sizzling platter on the advice of the waitress....More

The waiter was very lovely and guided us as to what we should order. He asked if we could trust him to make food and drink decisions and he didn't disappoint. Pizza bases are an A+ and the zucchini sausages were yummy.

Very tasty and not expensive. Fast service, big portions, it seems that Italian people eat here. We liked it, and were there several times.

Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only
way to describe the Esquilino neighbourhood. The
Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas
in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s
famous seven hills. From an ancient neighbourhood to
its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub,
Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot
vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up
