While on our day tour of Rome we came across this restaurant for lunch. The pasta was fantastic and the service superb.

We went to Rome for a few days and visited this place on 23/9/15 and enjoyed a very good lunch with a couple of glasses of wine. We enjoyed it so much that we returned on 24/9/15 and again on 26/9/15. Not only was the service and quality good, the waiter, Alessandro, remembered what our drinks were. He gave me... More

We went here for breakfast, picking it over La Dolce Vita next door which I think is much better, simply because this place had free wifi. The breakfast was OK, we took advantage of the free wifi, and the price was outrageous...but we had expected that. €51 for breakfast for two.

Looking only for drinks we asked the front of house if this was OK he said yes and seated us. When we tried to order said drinks from a different waiter he told us they were serving dinner only and asked us to leave.

This restaurant was more expensive than possibly others around the corner, but we had a fabulous view of Piazza Navona and were willing to pay a bit extra for the privilege. My son had the spaghetti pomodoro which he loved and I had the pizza which was very good. My husband however had the cannelloni which he said was just... More

I expected that a restaurant right on Piazza Navona would be overpriced. I even sort of expected that it would sneakily include a 14% service charge (three pastas and six drinks for €119?!). What I didn't expect was that our waiter would follow me into the square demanding to know why I hadn't left a tip. When our group left,... More

I found Enoteca La Bevitoria to be reasonably priced considering the location. My partner and I were seated outside at lunchtime providing a fantastic view of Piazza Navona, yet we were still shaded from the midday sun. The staff were very friendly but not pushy, even when approaching the restaurant we didn’t feel harassed. The staff also kept the touts... More

Well, if you want a prime seat watching the other tourists, the fake Prada bag sellers, the typical touristy paintings and other paraphernalia on Piazza Navona, then this restaurant may be perfect for you. However, you are expected to pay dearly for the privilege! I normally avoid these places like the plaque, but I was tired from all the sightseeing... More

Enoteca La Bevitoria serves mediocre food with mediocre service. In addition, they try to rip off tourist. A 14% service charge is included in the bill but they print in bold

We ate here on our last night in Rome. There are so many places to eat on this wonderful square, but it can be quite off putting when you are looking at a menu and you get pounced on. That didn't happen here, but it was busy and buzzing, full of a mixture of locals and tourists, so we gave... More
