Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Just waited an hour in line and had the WORST SERVICE I have ever had. They only deserve 1 star since the food was good but our waiter literally only came to our table after we sat there for 10 minutes and then never checked...to see how our food was or if we needed anything until we flagged him down to order more won and water which NEVER came. Skip this tourist trap.More

It was perfect. The Carbonara was epic and the service very politely with humour. We thank Mimmo for all the fun and the good service

Horrible place, a perfect tourist trap that attracts people by a lady that hand-makes the pasta in the window, and an ingenious imposed line that give people the impression its worth the wait. It does not! Tomato sauce was poured out of a can, with...unmistakable burnt aroma and metallic taste. Pasta came cold (!) and had to be replaced - 30 minutes later. Eggplant was basically a greasy pile of fried eggplant, tomatoes (whole), peppers and cheese. No sauce. It was only edible with a pile of salt. Highly expensive, for the pasta and the overall quality. Eat in a gas station - much better food.More

I have been to this restaurant for lunch during our short stay at Rome. I took a bolognese and the food was amazing! Probably one of the best pasta dishes I have ever taken. The staff were very friendly and courteous as well. Mimmo was...very nice with us! The only thing I did not like were the prices (if it was cheaper I would rate this restaurant a 5 not a 4). For 17 euros I expected a bigger portion. Otherwise, well done :)More

We came across this restaurant and the queue by accident one day but I recognised it from many “Rome travel” posts! Decided to give it a go, and despite the wait it was worth it! Really friendly staff and the food was really tasty!! 😋...The tiramisu was 🤩 amazing!!!More

This one is up there with the best pasta I’ve ever had! If you go to this restaurant, expect to wait in line. It was late when we got there, but we did wait outside for a bit before getting a table. It was definitely...worth it, though! The pasta tasted so fresh and authentic. Good service and a nice atmosphere outside. A memorable restaurant experience in the best way.More

Unreal pasta. You see the lady sat handmaking the pasta which is then sent to be cooked. Very nice welcoming staff and overall good vibes. We are visiting for 4 days and this is the best place we have ate in those 4 days. Good...location too close to a main attraction area.More

The wait don't worth it.. Yes, it's home made.. But that's it. I've waited 50 minutes before opening at 12. There was a huge queue, around 100 people. 5 waiters for all.. Not well organized, more speak with each other. Served after others came later.....Another 30 minutes of waiting. It's very expensive and not so amazing taste.. Not salt and pepper, table empty.. And they take 2€ for "the napkin" and 2 more if you're alone. 17€ a dish, plus 2€ for nothing plus 2 for napkin.. A joke Never againMore

The staff were really kind and friendly but this was probably the worst food my husband and I had in Rome. We saw it on tiktok and were sucked in by the gimmick of the ladies making pasta in the window. Both of our pastas...were so chewy and undercooked that we ate less than half of our meals.More
