I am a fan of this place's sister restaurant in Testaccio, and decided to give this one a try. It's a busy, smaller restaurant with friendly service, few tourists, mostly locals. Wine by the bottle very reasonably priced and pretty good selection. Some seasonal dishes...More

We had a wonderful meal, excellent service. Despite the fact that we did not book they made a plan at a very busy time of the evening. We muddled through the menu in broken Italian and the waiter was extremely tolerant and made what turned...More

I visited this restaurant after watching Andrew Zimern eat here on his episode of Bizarre Foods Rome. While they did not have the dish I had come for (Pajata) on the menu for the day, I found many other items that interested me. The menu...More

One of those local type of restaurants that doesn't seem to be designed for tourists per se. Really nice food but it had a weird vibe going on. The outer area was full of creepy mafiaesque dudes just standing or strolling around making us extremely...More

Very nice and authentic restaurant in the city center of Rome, very nice and quite area. The food was super delicious - home made pasta with some cheese. Also, tje wine selection was great. Definitely coming here again and highly recommending.

Delicious meal in a cozy atmosphere. The folks who work there were very friendly to me. The cacio e pepe was incredible and the tiramisu was excellent.

We were recommended this restaurant as original Italian. To be honest it's overrated salty 70"S style food good for perhaps the unsuspecting traveller like we sadly were. We had booked in advance no sign of effort or even a table reserved yet locals had better...More

Absolutely disturbing and uncomfortable to have been treated so poorly at this neighborhood restaurant. We are fluent in Italian and dine in many different cities often. The food was good. The table wobbled and the staff could care less. A pseudo host manager waiter should...More

The food here was very good. We had the carbonara and the amatriciana. Both at 9e. Absolutely superb with real pork cheek guincale. House wine was fairly good and pretty cheap. Would have given 5 stars but the service was not great. We hadn't reserved...More

One of the dangers of eating in Rome is the TA zone danger. The TA zone is when restaurant reviews are driven by tourists and not locals. Needless to say Romans don’t do TA much so most reviews are done by tourists, and well tourist...More

Just steps away from the chaos of the centre, Prati is
the closest Rome gets to calm. Meticulously planned in
a neat grid, quite unlike neighbouring Borgo, Prati is
a local favourite for its aesthetic organisation and
wide streets lined with a range of boutiques for every
shopping fantasy. Nonnis pushing baby carriages and
gossiping teens own every inch of the sidewalk, but
that’s only during business hours. Once the sun sets,
