As i travel often to Rome for business and hang out with a bunch of Romans usually after work, i get a special treatment food-wise. And this is one of these places which i feel fortunate to know. To have been introduced to. Simply put: not tourists, but Romans eat here. And some of the high class. Last time the... More

From the glass of Prosseco to the Cookies and Cream dessert, which should not be missed, this is just a lovely restaurant. The rabbit dish is rich and recommended , as are all the pasta dishes I tried. It's not for those seeking Michelin star cuisine but it's very good and the prices are very fair .

Lovely restaurant we like to visit every time we are in Rome. The staff are welcoming and attentive. The food is excellent. The mozzarella in grape leaves for an appetizer is wonderful. Every past dish we have had has been delicious.

We had a lot of expectations; we have been very disappointed. The only thing we liked were the fried appetisers, all other different specialities, we tried, are not worth mentioning, not even the desserts. A bad and expensive experience.

The spot is a bit hidden, so you really need to know where it is to get there (I just found it because I was with a local person). They have a pretty good variety meals and I just has has as stater a kind of caprese salad, which was excellent, followed by a penne pasta with a lovely souce!!... More

In an elegant, but still very familiar and cozy environment. Loved all the food (fish is 1st quality and portions are pretty big) including the homemade desserts (caramel ice cream is highly recommended). The owner, Paola, is super welcoming and makes you feel like at home. In Rome is a must also their Sunday brunch. Looking forward to go back

My wife and I came here on our first night in Rome. We had the following: mussels and clams for a starter, clam linguini for a first, and beef fillet for the main. The first two courses were honestly just okay but the filet was incredible. I had it rare and the meat was as good as it gets and... More

My wife and I were staying in a hotel a couple of streets away from this restaurant for three nights but just happened to stumble upon it on our last evening. Luckily it was fairly early evening as we seemed to be lucky enough to be given the last available table. Within an hour it was completely full; mostly locals.... More

We stumbled across this restaurant this evening in the Vatican area of Rome. Decor and lighting looked really lovely so although the restaurant looked quiet we decided to take the chance. We were greeted with welcome drinks and nibbles. The food was amazing and the service was excellent. Can't believe this restaurant hasn't got a higher rating in Rome. By... More

Staying in Prati

Neighbourhood Profile
Just steps away from the chaos of the centre, Prati is the closest Rome gets to calm. Meticulously planned in a neat grid, quite unlike neighbouring Borgo, Prati is a local favourite for its aesthetic organisation and wide streets lined with a range of boutiques for every shopping fantasy. Nonnis pushing baby carriages and gossiping teens own every inch of the sidewalk, but that’s only during business hours. Once the sun sets, quirky sidestreet bars celebrate aperitivo hour, those evening cocktails that help wash away the tensions of Roman life.
