I ate from here every day of our holiday - one you try the Choc Chip Cannoli you will know why! The gelato is divine and the cappuccinos were a lifesaver.

Pleasant gelato place offering up 'Sicilian" style gelato, crepes, American-style take-away coffee and tea. The peanut flavor was very tasty. Hazelnut and Kinder bueno (like Kinder eggs) were also good.

Stopped for a gelato while walking back to the hotel, have had several good cups of gelato while in Italy and this was no different, very good with quick and friendly service. They made me 2 fresh Cannoli to go instead of what was already in the counter.

My boyfriend and I went looking for this location after reading the reviews on tripadvisor. There wasn't a big selection but the staff was really friendly and helpful. The ice cream was good but nothing amazing.

On a recent trip to Rome my family frequented this shop at least once a day. Super flavors and incredibly friendly, SMILING service! They were very efficient and had great patience with our party of 12, all trying to decide which flavor to try next. The gelato was excellent.

Staff very friendly. Simple flavours on offer, but all tasted great. Chocolate and Coffee favorites. I visited earlier in the day when I first arrived and just had to go back after dinner on the walk back to my hotel.

We got our first Italian gelatos on the way to the fountain, at a place called Gelo Stellato on via S. Andrea Delle Fratte. 2€ for a two-flavor medium-size cup - banana and nutella! The staff were very friendly.

We found this little gelato store by chance and enjoyed all the flavours we tried. There were some quite unusual gelati flavours like grape and twice as many flavours as most of the other stores we had been in. Very friendly staff.

Staying in Colonna

Neighbourhood Profile
Colonna
Frantic fashionistas, pedicured politicos, goal-oriented tourists, and on-the-go locals cross paths every day in Colonna, a delightful chaos in the very centre of the city. Even though it has some of the city’s loveliest sites—a 2nd century column, Belle Epoque shopping centre, and a magnificent Baroque parliament building—Colonna is not just another pretty face, but the cosmopolitan eye of Rome’s cultural storm. Colonna can safely say it has the best of Rome: museums, boutiques, window displays, restaurants, cafes, and people watching.
