We popped into this caffe for a drink and cake, we bought 3 drinks and one cake and we overwhelmed when we got the bill, the bottle of Coca Cola that was clearly labelled €2.50 had be charged as €5 as we decided to sit...More

Just in front of Basilica di Santa Maria Maggiore, thus, has an excellent location. Very good gelato and food was good too. Quite pricey though.

Stopped here on the hop on/off City Tour to view the Santa Maria di Maggiore basilica, and stumbled upon this eatery/deli . It was full of locals (always a good indicator), so we waited 10 mins to be seated. The "turisto" menu offers 3 course...More

The Gran Caffe was very close to our hotel so we hoped it would become our 'local' while in Rome but unfortunately one visit was enough. The pizzas were good but the risotto terrible, and when we complained the waitress was very good but the...More

Monti is Rome’s rebel yell. This neighbourhood just
west of Termini train station mixes grit with fun as
it continues to fight for its reputation as a magnet
for the artsy, alternative, and hipster. Every season,
quirky boutiques and food spots sprout up on its
cobblestone streets. The neighbourhood supports unique
and homegrown businesses that cater to its longtime
residents as well as hipsters on the hunt. Hang out at
