Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

It was an awesome experience. Super delicious naopletan pizza with good price and friendly staff. I highly recommend it for those who want to try pizza in a local and non touristic place

A small and cozy place and friendly staff. Now about the pizza... The best pizza in Rome!! I came back to Rome after 7 years and I had to revisit this place. I am glad I did, because the pizza is still the same! Until...next time..More

As an American visiting Italy for the first time, I tried several pizza places in Rome. Pizzeria Loffredo was my favorite! The crust, the mozzarella, the mushrooms, and suace were all absolutely perfect. Even better, the cozy atmosphere and friendly owners made me feel right...at home. This is a favorite spot for locals, not touristy at all, so it's a bit off the beaten track. If you only try one pizzeria in Rome, make it this one!More

We were looking for a place to get a pizza and we hit the jackpot!! We didn't eat there just once; we went back every night we were in Rome! The pizza makes us wish we lived closer because now, "our favorite" pizza at home...doesn't compare! It is conviently located near the Numido Quadrato metro stop. The place is small but the staff is very friendly and efficient. They make you feel at home! We also tried the 'mixed fried' which was very tasty and the suppli should not be missed. Highly recommended!!! We will be back the next time we are in Rome!More

We rode the subway 17 stations for the Sara pizza and we did it 2 times. That's how phenomenal it was! We've also tried the Mezza Luna and 2 desserts: Baba al rum (which is kind of a spongy dough (very similar to the romanian..."savarina") with rum) and another dessert (whose name I forgot unfortunately) - a scone with ricotta. All of those were good. I definitely recommend this place. Truly amazing. The food was awesome and the staff friendly.More

This place has simply the best pizza ever . The dough is so fresh and delicious like it can be eaten on it’s own with nothing on it which they give you some fried to try before hand so delicious. The ingredients are so fresh...and it is a family owned restaurant. I tried Margareta , Buffala and the tuna one all were so good like I couldn’t stop eating . We tried the suppli and the fried potato called crochetta de pattata both are so good .They make the fried dough with Nutella on top as a dessert that is to die for . I loved it thanks for the amazing experience but problem is I can’t eat normal pizza again .More

If you are in Rome you need to check this place out. We were staying in Rome for 5 days and we decided to look outside of the city centre in hopes of finding a place where the locals eat, all I can say is...we found it at Loffredo. The pizza is Napoletana style and it was one of the best we found on our travels. The selections of pizzas are vast and the service is great. The food came quick and they were even kind enough to give us some free items for breakfast to take home. They couldn't be more friendly or accomodating and spoke English well. This is a family run establishment that truly cares about their food and the experience, you must stop here if you are in Rome! Ps. Make a reservation before hand if you can, if fills up quick. Also it's accessable from anywhere in Rome, take the subway to Nomidio Quadrato and it is literally a five minute walk up the street.More
