This place is always one of my "must go place" Food is really very good and atmosphere is really friendly and welcoming Only problem is that you need to reserve and only cash is accepted Apart of this, this place is my favorite in Roma

This place wins every time when in Rome! We went for lunch and the food was amazing; perfect and typical Italian food. Service is quick and portions are good as is the wine. Very much a family feel is what is a rather quaint restaurant...More

A great evening. Friendly staff, wonderful home cooking. Doors open at 8.00 pm and not before. By 8.10 pm the restaurant is full. Need to book in advance to secure a table. There are daily specials on a blackboard, but only in Italian. We asked...More

Walked across town to eat here. It was Monday at 2pm and the restaurant should have been open according to TripAdvisor hours. It wasn't. Update your hours so people don't walk over for nothing.

Took friends here for their first night in Rome and, of course, they loved it. Simple but quality food, ample portions, friendly service. Always reliable, always crowded, so reservations recommended.

This was highly unpleasant. The attitude of the waiters was nothing short of appalling - throwing menus onto the table, forgetting (repeated) drinks orders, and being plain, damned rude. The food was nothing to write home about, either. Perhaps we caught them on a bad...More

The restaurant is a bit packed but very cosy and well-decorated. The service was fast, and the staff was very friendly and fun. The food was excellent: we had traditional local food (gricia, carbonara, coda alla vaccinara, trippa, carciofi alla giudia, puntarelle alle alici), and...More

La Trattoria Dal Cavalier Gino is tucked away in a little alley close to the parlamento. You will definitely have to reserve! They have two seatings, one around 8pm and one around 10pm. The place is lively and loud, it is a typical trattoria (as...More

Campo Marzio
From its original role as ancient army training fields
to its present-day identity as one of the city’s most

Baroque palazzos line the streets, and are filled with
enticing boutiques and food shops. By day, Rome’s
best-dressed denizens criss-cross its streets in a
