It made a nice change from the standard Italian food. Good bread as the restaurant has its own bread and deli counter. The only criticism was that the pork was very dry. The wine choice was varied, but good. Service was fine It is a...More

Fancy place for drinks and dinner, totally recommend! Notice that reviews online state it's near the Vatican, but they moved to a new location (it took us 1.5 hour walking from Vatican to the restaurant). As well, they open from 16:00 for drinks & snacks,...More

We came here to a business dinner with more than 30 people. I know the chef Cristina Bowerman and her fantastic restaurant Glass in Trastevere. This is a less expensive version of her dishes. Everything was excellent. I really do not understand the negative critics...More

We had a very good lunch in this nice restaurant that is a bit far from the very crowded places in the ancient center of Rome. You can find innovative dishes as well as classic ones and everything we tasted was delicious. The Tiramisu is...More

A relaxed atmosphere and a versatile menu. Few possibilities in terms of extra wishes (fries as a side dish not possible for example) so straight forward. Desserts on the small side but fine eaten for a reasonable price

The worst meal I had in Rome, also the most expensive. I was shocked how bad the food was, one dish - the ravioli - had a flavorless filling, cold vanilla essence (yuk), and was served half warmed-up. It’s as though they tried to make...More

Entering you might think you finally found an international fine dinning place in Rome . The large cavernous space ( used during the Second World War as a people shelter during sky bombing ) has a sophisticated design with large spaceships shaped chandeliers floating from...More

If you think you can not have bad food in italy think again. Worst dinner ever. We where with a group of 65 people and wasted 3 hours in this place.

Contrary to the chaos of the city, the Aventine is
Rome’s oasis. A neighbourhood made up of a patchwork
of ancient churches, hidden gardens, private homes and
embassies, peace and quiet is top priority and the
vibe definitely friends and family. Take a walk around
the Aventine and you’ll find a treasure hunt of
surprises like the clever little keyhole at the
Knights of Malta entrance (the only place you’ll find

Well when I visited Romeo, (mid August 2016) we visited for a light lunch with panini's from the fresh deli counter. If you fancy a lunch like this (fresh bread, panini's, etc.) it is not essential to book. However, if you... More
