Excellent service and extremely mouth-watering gelato. Visited with kids and tried different flavours of this marvellously handcrafted ice creams. Very close to Vatican. Definitely deserves a visit, otherwise you might miss the best gelato in Rome.

Great taste, and the service was great. You can choose as many flavors as you want for any size of cone or cup.

The gelato here is incredible. Just popped in after a quick trip to the Vatican City and it was a fantastic idea. Great range of flavours.

This was just what we needed after an exhausting day of sightseeing. We got the coconut, peanut butter and panna cotta flavours - all of which were delicious. And really good value for money! The owner is a really friendly guy with really good music taste (I may have stolen his playlist). He also kindly let me use a power... More

This was the last ice-cream we had in Rome, and really sorry we didn't go here first. Really nice ice-cream and value for money. Also lovely service with a smile.

We went here after our Vatican visit and we'd go there again, but not the Vatican! That says it all really! once you've seen a tapestry or the Cistine Chapel, you've seen it, but to taste this ice cream again would be heaven! We had tried the gelato at Fiucco Di Nerve the day before. We thought that was good... More

It was the best gelato I had in Rome. I tasted the fragola (strawberry) and chocolate flavours and came back the next day, when I had to have another serve of the chocolate gelato, the best in my opinion. The service was really good as well, above the standard for Rome.

It's a small place, near bus stop 23,62 (Sant Angelo) easy to miss, but it's the best ice cream in Rome :)

Try the Nutella Ice Cream and the Black Bomb, a kind of chocolate mousse! If you have time, chat with Giuseppe, the owner, from Naples! Great guy!

We were staying in the area and came across this place by chance, and what a discovery it was! The gelato is delicious, and Giuseppe is such a lovely guy!! We liked it so much we went back the next day for a last gelato before leaving Rome. Thanks Giuseppe!

Staying in Vatican / Borgo

Neighbourhood Profile
Vatican / Borgo
Frocked priests, colorful Swiss Guards, insistent souvenir shop owners, flag-waving tour guides, and pilgrims from around the world. This is the Vatican and Borgo, Rome's most recognized neighbourhood which acts as Vatican City's front yard. Aside from the souvenir boutiques and a few food spots, the only business conducted here is papal. In the daytime, the tiny medieval sector bustles with holy activity, as visitors vie for elbow room, or stand in line for a visit. Once the sun sets, the neighbourhood is transformed into a quiet and picturesque hamlet.
