Our tour of Rome stopped here for the included lunch. So we only we able to have the "fixed" lunch that was provided. However, the food provided was pretty good. The restaurant did have other customers that were not from the cruise line tours, and the food that they had looked quite amazing. I just wish our tour had more... More

the food was good, the wine better and the singers during the meal was great, a semi formal restuarant, with a piano player and a duo of Italian opera

We ate here during an excursion whilst on a cruise. The first course was a lasagne which was very tasty and filling. The main course was a pork escallop with Rosemary potatoes and a side salad - to be honest I found this a little strange and not to my taste, however my husband hate his quite happily. The desert... The food what pretty ok. It was pre planned with the cruise ship tour I was taking so service was quick. The waiter wasn't welcoming but he wasn't rude either. The service was quick and efficient.

We booked a local tour, and Martina made reservations for us with another couple from Saudi Arabia, who were in our tour group. We had the most wonderful dinner. The food was excellent. The wine choices were perfect for the meal. The couple we sat with were very nice, and conversation with them was most enjoyable. The highlight of the... More

This was included in our shore excursion organised by the cruise line. We were a large group, but the staff were able to cater for us, with a simple 3 course meal with wine, and send us off on time to enjoy what Rome had to offer for the rest of the day.

One of the first dinners we had on our trip to Italy was at the CasaNova. It was meant to give an introductory taste to Roman culture and cuisine. It is a large restaurant able to accommodate tours or large groups. As such it can become very noisy with the sounds of many diners. In addition, there is a duo... More

Ate here on Friday night. Very warm and very cramped. Antipasti was very good. Rigatoni with pesto and shrimp was tasty as was the spaghetti carbonara. Veal saltimbocca was a little over cooked. A pair of opera singers sang throughout our meal. They were quite loud which made for difficult conversation. Located on Via Rodi in Rome.

We were approximatly a group of 30 persons who went to this restaurant not to know what to expect. We asked for wine and found out that they processe and elaborate their own wine named CasaNova. White and tint both are very good. They brought their own baked bread delicious and the dinner was very good seasoned with good flavor... More
