We ate here our first night in Rome.. perhaps we set the bar too high too soon! Barbara gave wonderful service. Thank you so much! We started off with the prosciutto and mozzarella plate along with the typical Italian chickpea crepe/pancake. It was great! We moved on from there to the tonnareli.. amazing pasta. When you think of Italian pasta... More

We visited this restaurant after reading the reviews. We were not disappointed. Lovely little space, just slightly off the beaten track so lovely and peaceful. Great choice of food. We had the saltimbocca and beef "millefoglio", both superb. Tiramisu was light and the pineapple tartare refreshing. Great selection of wines. Very friendly and extremely knowledgeable staff. Very reasonably priced for... More

A great choice for very well prepared food, friendly service, quiet ambiance and price. Radion our waiter made the dinner experience very pleasant. Exceptionally helpful with several menu suggestions that proved worthy of his endorsement. The food was excellently prepared for everyone including gluten free options. The Eggplant Parmesan was the best. Highly recommended. Ask Radion about his Pshenoff Vodka... More

We visited ciambella a number of times for breakfast and once for dinner as we were staying in the neighborhood (the restaurant is very close to the Pantheon, FYI). Each time the food was delicious and fresh, and the service impeccable. Couldn't recommend more highly.

A Sunday evening late February La Ciambella delivers great food and wine. We had the 35 € taste menu with wine guide (20€). Great choice. Wonderful service and an extra touch of rembering my wifes birthday!

This lovely restaurant was located right next door to the hotel we were staying in and on the way back from a meal out we stopped in for a drink. The variety of wine available is amazing and the staff know their stuff. Whilst having our wine the waitress bought over a complementary tasting dish and it was delicious. Only... More

We had one of our best meals in Rome here. My husband had the most unusual rabbit dish that was the daily special; we had a fabulous wine (Bellone) that isn't available in the US. We enjoyed the experience so much that my husband thanked the chef whose family was sitting nearby and they applauded.

In random search for a dinner restaurant on a Sunday evening, me and my son ended up here. It proved to be our top restaurant visit in Rome during our four days there. Excellent service, extremely knowledgeable sommelier (aca waiter) and wonderful dishes. We can especially recommend the Ravioli di Ricota and the Millefoglie Chianina.

We visited La Ciambella in December 2016. The food was really tasty but quite small portions. The restaurant had a nice relaxed feel to it. I had the pumpkin ravioli which was delicious. To reiterate the small portions, my partner ordered a €10 glass of wine and the portion poured equated to only 2 sips.
