Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We went late in the day - around 7pm. We chose the 2 available pastas - one was vegetarian and the other a carbonara. The vegetarian was extremely spicy. It really was almost impossible to eat The carbonara was dry. The staff was lovely. Maybe...we will still come back to try it when it’s cooked - around 12 everyday.More

Pastificio Guerra is a hide treasure in Roma. Fresh pasta with a full flavor. It’s is the best. The thing that I don’t like was they don’t have where clients sit to eat.

If you're a traveler, student, or young adult just starting out in your career and looking to tour Europe on a budget, you might really enjoy this pasta. But if you're older, well-off, and have experienced various flavors in different restaurants, you probably won't like...it. The place itself doesn't claim to have amazing pasta. You'll realize this the moment you step through the door. I don't understand why it is excessively praised in some reviews. It's quite ordinary, something anyone could make at home today. There are no extra flavors. However, I can't say it's bad. If you're looking for a cheap meal, it's a good option, but if you want to enjoy truly delicious pasta, it would be the wrong choice.More

Delicious pasta of the day for €4,50 with free cup of wine. Unbeatable. Eat in or take away. I'd go back.

We came up on this absolute gem of a place by accident, and what a happy accident it was. Tucked away in a narrow street just moments away from the Spanish steps, this is an authentic Roman pasta maker (over a century in business, not...a Johnny-come-lately tourist trap) who sell their produce in both dried and cooked forms. The shop opens for lunch at 1pm and the queue stretches down the street in anticipation. Despite the length of the queue, it moves quickly thanks to the mega efficient staff inside. Payment is by card or cash (€4.50 per serving, ah absolute steal) and you get a choice of vegetarian and meat dishes. The vegetarian was with a broccoli, potato and chilli sauce and the meat was a cream sauce with crispy bacon. You are served in a take away container and you can eat it either standing in the shop (which gets a little crowded, but you’re in Rome so you’re probably used to crowds by now, right?) or in the street. Note that eating your meal on the Spanish Steps is forbidden, nor can you sit on shop window ledges or block doors - just make like a Roman and eat it standing up. The portion would feed two moderately hungry people or one very hungry person, great fuel for a day of hot footing it around the city. There were plenty of Romans in the queue, so you know it’s good. If you’re looking for dessert after all that pasta there’s a great tiramisù shop across the street (reviewed separately). Make a point of visiting here at least once on your visit to Rome - you won’t regret it!More

Some of the best pasta available in Rome, at cheap prices! €4.50 per box of pasta, and one box serves two! There are only two options everyday, one vegetarian and one meat option. The menu changes daily. It's take away only. Super close to the...Spagna Metro stop. Two thumbs up!More

I didnt like the fact that the menu was a surprise, you didnt have the right to choose and even if it was a surprise they had to make more kinds of pasta not only two(in our case). The pasta that was offered when we...were there fortunately was the ones that we wanted and we liked it , authentic Romagna Pasta! Nice price for 4.5€ was worth it!!More

If you pay 4.50 euros in cash, they give you a plate of pasta plus a glass of wine. The food was delicious. Take into account that for this to cost you you must eat standing inside the premises at a high table. Si pagar...en efectivo 4,50 euros te dan un plato de pasta mas un vaso de vino. La comida estaba deliciosa. Toma en cuenta que para que te cueste eso debes de comer parado dentro del local en una mesa altaMore

Yes, there is a long queue. Yes, there are only two pasta types. Yes, the service isn't great. That said, best pasta in Italy. We got take away twice and both times were absolutely fantastic. There is long queue for a reason and it is...because the pasta is that good, and a bargain.More

This is my second visit here. We got a tub of each of the pastas and sat with the view of the Spanish steps. Wonderful pasta and amazing to have such a good find in such a busy area! Highly recommend.
