Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Small place for a quick and healthy lunch in the center of Rome. The owner Carlo is very kind and good at cooking delicious dishes (not only Piadine but also other Italian specialties).

The piadina bread was dry and not interesting, the filling was frozen. We asked for the piadina they would recommend, and the result was very disappointing. Others had a couscous salad that look really good though. - wouldn't recommend for the piadina vegitiariana.

I visit this place almost monthly for years and have to admit that I am addicted. The food is fresh and great. The soups are out of this world. The cherry on top is the wonderful owner and chef who always welcomes his customers with...a big smile. I know in there I found a place I’ll always want to go back to eat at for life.More

Walked by, there was a lineup, stopped in to check menu, to discover wraps and soups. It was cool and rainy, soup sounded good, had the tortellini soup, with parm.cheese, was good, inexpensive and hit the spot. Looking for a change from a plate of...pasta, give them a try.More

We went here for a quick lunch, one of my favourite lunches i had whilst here. Although their English is limited it gave me chance to practise the italian i've been learning before coming. I ordered a cheese, han and mushroom wrap which was lovely...(went down far too quickly)! It was only 3/4 euros per sandwich and much better than some of the places on the main road that charge you for the convience.More

I am not the type of person to give very bad reviews but this will be an exception. So here's what happened: My sister and my mom lined up to take an order while I was away. Their English is just average. As it was...their turn to order, the lady left them alone for a while although she had seen them. It felt like she cared more about doing other things than taking care of her customers. Next she asks in Italian what they would like to order. My sister first tried to order in a weak Italian but very quickly switched to English since the lady was impatient. She said " no English" although she gave my sister a menu in English. As my sister started to point on the menu, the lady took her chin and said in Italian " pick from here" showing the shelf where a few varieties of prepared rolls are displayed (not all of them though). So instead of getting food that are prepared on order, we got some that had been there for a few hours already. Luckily an Italian customer behind them helped with the translation for the end of the order. Behind us there were other tourists. When it was their turn to order, the lady took the entire order in english and she even gave them some suggestions in English as well. For the record, we are asian. As for the food, well. We didn't get to try fresh rolls so I can't judge on that. But the ones from the display were just okay. I'd rather have a panino from somewhere else.More

We came here for a late lunch after checking in to our hotel around the corner. It is a small shop with a few seats. I did not know what a Piadina was until I came here. It is a toasted flat bread style sandwich...with a combination of fillings. It was really tasty and it was made fresh when ordered.More

This little shop wraps up various ingredients and sells them at a very good value (Just 2.50 euro for most of the pre-made ones in the deli case). Nice value and filled our tummies at lunchtime. The gentleman who runs the shop didn't speak English...but we worked together to communicate with sign language and my limited Italian. Very friendly and helpful guy!More

This is the best discovery we made in Rome. Carlo makes everything from scratch. It was as cheap as chips yet the tastiest food we have had in a month in Italy. Seek it out for lunch or a light dinner. You will not be...disappointed.More
