Excellent margarita pizza, fresh mozzarella and fresh bread. Excellent dessert and friendly service. We arrived around 10am after an early Vatican tour and had a quick lunch and wonderful almond bread for dessert.

If you want a good snack, a quick drink and especially good Italian bread near to Saint Peter's, "gemme di pane" is a good place to go. The Italian "crew" is young and dynamic and prizes honest.

Description
At S.Peter's walking distance, in the middle of the historical city of Rome, a place where the taste of bread and pizza freshly baked is mixed with the sweet aroma of bakery. A place to stop if you'd like to have a snack "on the go", or buy every kind of italian bread or pizza and take it home... A lunch break for office employers nearby or tourists with keen eye...With its "bancone" full of delicious food just baked in the large oven in the rear. Special request for banqueting and buffet on demand
