corea ristorante was a welcome change from consecutive days of eating Italian food. Food is good and not very expensive, worth a try

If you are pizza and panini out like I am, and are craving for some Korean food then this is the place to be. We came here on a Wednesday night, not knowing what to expect. When we first arrived there were 3 tables of customers and were all Asians (which is usually a good sign). We ordered the Bulgogi,... More

My friend and I were in Rome for 5 days and we couldn't eat another pasta dish so we started looking for ethnic foods and found this restaurant. The food was delicious. I come from Orange County, CA where Asian food, specifically Korean food, comes aplenty but I do have to admit that this restaurant is on par with the... More

It was our fifth or six experience with Korean cuisine and we thought it was delicious. We live in Italy so we CRAVE non-Italian food. We spent the weekend in Rome and loved our experience here. The restaurant was empty so the service was outstanding. We ordered three standard Korean dishes: bibimbop, kimchee jigae and barbecue. They ran about 15E... More

Staying in Esquilino

Neighbourhood Profile
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighbourhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighbourhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic centre. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
