Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Feels like an Italian approach to fast food. The atmosphere is nice and the dishes are okay for this type of a restaurant. All pizzas were vegetarian.

Food is Southerm Italy and so, so delicious and amazingly cheap. Service is just spot on. The English speaking host/waitress is one of the most customer focused individuals I have ever met, friendly, accomodating, very knowledgable and fluent English speaker. If there was a Trip...Advisor for personal awards she should definately be up for one.More

Found this on trip advisor and it didn't disappoint, we walked from the Vatican museum to panzerotti enroute to St Peters Bastille. My husband and I ordered the traditional lunch of deep fried bread with tomato and mozzarella and ham, capers, salami ,mozzarella and tomato...and we shared a garden salad plus a drink and it was only $12.50, it was fantastic. We wanted more when we had finished . The service was second to none. This cafe does all on premises cooking, I highly recommend finding it instead of being ripped off nearer St Peters Square.More

Thanks to this APP we walked to this little hidden place. From outside we'd never entered by chance. But this APPs suggestion was absolutely a useful tip for a great and low price food. Try everything! It's worth it. Also ask for the thing with...Nutella;-)More

Very tiny place, 4 or 5 chairs. 5/5 stars for Focaccia. I wish they had something else than the standard cola- perroni- water to drink.

I was recommended to visit Panzerotti & Friends while planning my Rome trip in South Sudan, so I might be one of the client, from most exotic places. The food they offer is great, the restaurant is searched for not only by courious tourists as...me, but also by community that comes from Puglia and lives now in Rome - for me this is always a proof of authenticity :): If you want to try some real regional dish, at the same time fast and cheap (and of course, really tasteful), Panzerotti&Friends is an ideal place to visit. It is a bit farther from the most visited places in Rome, but this makes it actually even more attractive, and is actually very is to reach with the metro.More

Panzerotti making is their specialty, and from the three times I went there, this is the product they sell the most. It is actually very good, with different fillings, and also have focaccia and tiramisu. The restaurant is really small (there is room for about...six people), so you may have to eat yours standing on the street (it is not a bad choice actually), or take it to go. So, if you are looking for some fast italian food other than pizza, and you happen to be around it, this is the place to go.More

Those guys are great, I travel around Italy and I never tried a Panzerotti kind like those, neither in Puglia. The best thing are the variety and the courtesy of the guys, young and friendly. Have to try :)

5€ for light dinner for 2?! Too good to be true? Nope! We totally did it. A panzerotti, similar to a calzone, was only 2€ and was so delicious. The panzerotti are better than the focaccia/pizza. The focaccia is charged by weight--our slice was 1€....This is street food but there's a tiny spot or two to eat. The staff's English isn't all the best but it proved to be no problem (and they're very friendly) and we were able to see a part of Rome we'd never see otherwise (we visited based on tripadvisor recommendations). It was really worth it, particularly for the price.More

The pizza here is unlike the pizza you find most anywhere else in Rome--thick and fluffy crust with delicious toppings. I definitely recommend it just on the food alone, but the real story for me was the generosity of the employees here. I met one...of the employees, Antonio Trentadue (yes, that's a name) on my adventure hitchhiking through Europe. After hosting me for a couple evenings and feeding me, he sent me to this restaurant with a hand-written note. Not knowing any Italian, I didn't know what it said, and the other employees didn't speak English--so you can imagine my surprise when they offered me whatever I wanted, pizza and beer, and then didn't charge me anything for it. If anyone doubts Italian hospitality, I can tell you that it's real, and these guys exemplify it.More

This is the ultimate experience for whoever wants to try something special and really unique in Rome! Apulia is a southern Region of Italy, famous for its stunning sceneries and fantastic cuisine. And this is the only corner in Rome where you get a taste...of its delicious food. Everything at Panzerotti & Friends is just perfect: the combination of fresh ingredients and original simple recipes makes all the products something special, The welcoming, charming staff makes the rest. Don't miss the opportunity to try something different from the usual pizza or focaccia: If you get the chance, go and try! It's a short ride in the METRO A direction ANAGNINA, the closer metro stop is COLLI ALBANI. I promise you won't regret it, and will go home taking with you a real taste of Italy.More
