Everything we had was amazing! We were in Rome for three days and wished we went here everyday. Focaccia with prosciutto and arugla was our favorite bite, the Smoked Swordfish sandwich was spectacular as well.

We were staying in Hotel Ponte Sisto in Rome and found this wonderful restaurant around the corner. Since we were looking for a place that would serve early dinner we were lucky to be early. The Whole restaurant was fully booked for the night but...More

Got a recommendation from a local friend so went here for lunch, expecting something expensive but nice. We were gladly surprised since the meals varied from 12-20 euros. So worth it!! You can see into the kitchen here which was a real treat. The people...More

There are certain ingredients and flavors that are very typical of Rome and if you stay in town for more than a day, chances are that you will encounter them somewhere: artichokes, pecorino cheese, pork meat, mozzarella, and many more. Nothing wrong with sticking to...More

We were recommended this restaurant by our great AirBnB host, and it did not disappoint. We loved it and the food was phenomenal. We would highly recommend this to our friends and family going to Italy, and wanting something less traditional, and more experimental.

Pianostrada is hip and popular, packed with multiple seatings even on weekday nights. Tourists come early, then around 9:00 the Italians take over. On weekends the crowd skews young and somewhat gay. The Pianostrda’s food justifies the restaurant’s popularity. It’s Italian, but not traditional Roman....More

Address on their website is incorrect. Food was interesting and delicious. The bread and the menu of the day are where the restaurant truly shine.

We'd read about Pianostrada in Elizabeth Minchilli's guides and blogs so were excited to try it for ourselves. Pitching-up at 1pm on a Tuesday with no reservation was a bit of a risk, but the place was almost empty... until about 1:15pm when it packed-out...More

From the warm welcome to the quality of the food..... everyting was great. We had the advantage to have dinner on the terrace outside which is quiet. Excellent selection of wines and creative cooking in a trendy atmosphere. Just great!

Trastevere ("beyond the Tiber") is like a faded
postcard, a little worn around the edges but still
charming. With its wide-open piazzas, meandering
streets, weathered Renaissance buildings, and
overgrown personality, it's become an irresistible
mecca for visitors. Trastevere is an enclave of
entertainment - a rotating set of street performers
entertains almost every night, and unforgettable
