Michelin Starred husband and wife team, she the chef, he the sommelier. Fabulous meal of complex flavours but decent portions! No 'cheffy' foams but just excellent food served with care.

Here's a highly rated restaurant that's worth every thumbs up it gets. Superb food that's an update on traditional Roman fare, but without any attitude or trendy attitude. Friendly atmosphere and service. Very good too for the gluten-free diner. Looking forward to another trip to...More

This is next to our hotel so we decided to try it rather than walk further in the rain. We were so happy we came back for more 2 days later! Salmon, lamb, pig and 2 appetizers we tried were all amazing. Traditional food and...More

The purpose of our visit was to celebrate a friend's birthday. All 6 of us had the chef's menu which was an excellent choice. Delicious delicate baccalà to begin. Fresh paccheri amatriciana to continue. Flavourful saltimbocca with a side of funghi, perfect pairs. And a...More

This is a must-go restaurant in Rome, that's for sure! The amazing appetizers, the overwhelming wine menu and the perfectly made courses makes this visit mandatory! Also, this was the restaurant in whole Italy where our 2 year-old daughter was most well treated! Just go...More

Expensive, but really great food and very good service. A typical example of family-run local restaurant, we enjoyed our dinner.

Service is fairly good, but the food is very average. Too salty and too cooked, for a rather high price: primi piati for 15 and secondi for 25. With 1 bottle of wine, you end up paying 110-120eur for two people, for some food that...More

Loved this small family owned restaurant. I had a fab soup with a/o fava beans, my dinner partner the artichokes (prepared in different ways) with lamb sweetbread and intestines. Although I usually do not like eating organ meat, my partner made me try and I...More

Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only
way to describe the Esquilino neighbourhood. The
Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas

its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub,
Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot
