A little off the beaten path near Barberini station, this little kitchen serves basic Roman staples. Great cacio e pepe and very friendly wait staff.

First and foremost ATMOSPHERE. Owner is welcoming guests with friendliness and openess, you feel like you're visiting close friend of your close friend :) No pushing for orders, no happy hours, no forced offers. We spent there around 1,5 hour and most of this time...More

This restaurant is a family run business. Nonno sits at one table, with his beloved dogs, while over-seeing the comings and goings. The restaurant is filled with locals, which is the best sign for home-style cooking and genuine Roman cuisine. We had a delicious lunch...More

Hosteria da Nerone is my current favorite neighborhood place. Low key and friendly, it caters to regulars and tourists alike, though I think it helps to speak some Italian. The antipasti bar is an old fashioned find with amazingly delicious vegetables. The shady tables are...More

Excelent food, we stopped by chance and ended up with one of the most tasty lunch in Rome. Many locals which gave me the assurance that I am in the right place and I wasn't wrong. You need to try it.

Food is just ok, service is terrible for tourist. They cater to locals only, we even had trouble getting water. My food never even came to the table, while all the locals were being served promptly. We only got an appetizer for two, and that...More

We found this little place while waiting for our colosseum tour. Seemed to be full of locals having their lunch; not many other tourists. Very quaint, and cute family run restaurant, little English spoken. The staff were amazing; really welcoming, brilliant with the children and...More

Found this gem our first night in Rome. Was on the same block as our room. Family run. Fabulous food. The antipasti is out of this world: there’s an entire buffet inside, 3 layers high running at least 10 feet. While we ate elsewhere during...More

While walking back to the hotel from a day at the Colosseum we stumbled upon this lovely establishment. All our entrées were delicious. Their menu is extensive. The service was attentive and quick. This is a great spot. Understanding Italian is very helpful at this...More

We wanted a quick lunch after visiting the Colosseum and the reviews seemed to be ok. The food was OK (serving size was small) but service terrible. We wanted to have anti-pasti and we were told to get it ourselves by a waitress as she...More

Monti is Rome’s rebel yell. This neighbourhood just
west of Termini train station mixes grit with fun as
it continues to fight for its reputation as a magnet
for the artsy, alternative, and hipster. Every season,
quirky boutiques and food spots sprout up on its
cobblestone streets. The neighbourhood supports unique
and homegrown businesses that cater to its longtime
residents as well as hipsters on the hunt. Hang out at

As Bighorndon says, its unlikely. They are not connected electronically to the world (or at least they don't respond). We wrote them a regular snail mail letter to secure our booking for 17 people and they answered it.
