Staff not overly friendly but very efficient, we shared the duck ravioli and a plate of vegetables with olive oil and seasoned hot goats' cheese. Everything was beautifully prepared and very tasty we thoroughly enjoyed it. Along with a bottle of water the bill was €32, good value for lunch with wine. Amazing wine list. Would seek it out again... More

Found our way into this little gem and are so glad that we did! I had the oxtail and my husband had lasagna. Both were excellent! Plus the wine list is like a small book! It gets crowded as the night goes on, so early is better, but it's worth the wait if you have to!

If I had an Italien grandmother- this is how she'd cook. It's simple comforting and very tasty. We had meatballs with mashed potatoes- great , and boar stew - great too. Mixed salad on the side and almond orange pie. Wonderful wine selection. And all of this at good price

Seriously 1.500 very goodwines, good food (cheese/meat-platters and small and bigger meals) in the center of Rome! Small place but lots of tables all the way to the rear. You can also sit outside on the street terrace. Good place to be during all afternoon and evening moments of each day :-)

The food is roman old style and a huge canteen offers a varietà of divines wines. Comfortable for a long staying rating time!

We found this place from the rick steves guide book and it was a great refuge from the rain and bustle of Rome. My husband got a salumi plate and I got a pasta dish for lunch. The owner- an older gentleman spoke great English and gave us wonderful service as we were rushing to see the pantheon and other... More

I'm not sure how to grade this place or what to think... When we arrived we got a rather cool welcoming. The staff didn't seem to interested in us. We didn't really get any help with choosing a good wine with our choice of food. Then suddenly one man from the staff (owner?) came, started to talk - and the... More

If you are a little tired of pasta in rome, you should try their oxtail vaccinara style. It's not easy to eat(because of oxtail's bone structure) but worth deboning (a very hard work).

Recommened by our Angel guide Alessia... so we were in the Piazza Navona area and thought we'd give it a try. So glad we did... the wine menu is more like a bible so we really had to take some advice... our waiter was really so accommodating he asked what we liked and guided us to a local Lazio wine...
