Great atmosphere, friendly service, nice wine selection, and a wealth of creative vegetarian dishes in the historical center of Rome. My friend and I split the "mixed antipasto for two," so got a nice selection of starters, then we each had a main course, dessert, and even a dessert wine. Great choice even for non-vegetarians, and it would be a... More

This is a great place to eat vegetarian food in Rome. In a city were pasta is all over, this is a great option to go. For brunch, lunch or dinner the art gallery were the restaurant works is just a very nice place to be in the art district. I'm sure I'm gonna come back

Autumn Menu and classic menu were both fabulous and full of flavors! We shared these between us with a nice bottle of wine.

A great example of how vegetarian food can be truly delicious. A must for those looking for some really inspired Italian dishes focussed on light delicious food in a modern setting.

It's not so easy to be vegan in Rome so Il Margutta was a treat. It's easy to choose the vegan options from the menu and my non vegan friend enjoyed the vegetarian choices. Desserts were also great. All the dishes creatively served and well described on menu. Service was good a very comfortable restaurant.

We were looking forward to going to II Margutta RistorARTE in Rome, after reading about it. We have been vegetarians for 40 years, so we've eaten at great and not so great, cheap and not so cheap vegan and vegetarian places over the years. For the most part, they keep getting better and more sophisticated regarding what a vegetarian REALLY... More

We had a great vegetarian brunch at 1pm on a Sunday afternoon, passing by Via Margutta. The buffet is descent for 25 euros and the coffee really tasty. The service is average but not bad. Their manners could improve but I really liked the ambience and the cleanliness of the toilets.

Had the best meal in Rome here. Great to find so many vegetarian but different options. We found the service great and the staff were incredible helpful explaining dishes and wine, helping us choose with recommendations. (Be aware if going for a full 3 course with wine and bread it is a bit pricey but a great treat!)

The service is very slow, however I don't mind poor service if the food is good. In this case it isn't. The food is terribly over priced and just bad. The "fresh tomato soup" is literally served with enough to fill 6 spoons. That's almost 2 euro per spoon of cold soup that you are eating. Then comes out the... More

Staying in Campo Marzio

Neighbourhood Profile
Campo Marzio
From its original role as ancient army training fields to its present-day identity as one of the city’s most desirable neighbourhoods, the Campo Marzio is the best place to get lost in Rome. Gorgeous Renaissance and Baroque palazzos line the streets, and are filled with enticing boutiques and food shops. By day, Rome’s best-dressed denizens criss-cross its streets in a fashionable parade of errands, occasionally pausing to look fabulous in gorgeous piazzas like San Lorenzo in Lucina. Campo Marzio can be a bit of a sleeper after aperitivi hour (21:00), so visit by day and experience the pulse of daytime Rome.
