this is the worst restaurant in Rome. The food is pathetic and very bad quality and the owner very rude. Must be avoided at all cost. Don't waste your money on this restaurant. The owner should know how to respect the clients and should talk politely.

I hadn't eaten at an Indian place for a while but pretty sure this beats any place in a long history.

We had 2 dinner takeaways from this restaurant. The food was tasty. However I found the restaurant to be pricey. The portions were very small. The naan's especially were small and highly overpriced. I believe this family run restaurant caters to tourists hence they can afford to be pricy given that if a tourist wants to eat Indian food they... More

With a friend, I enjoyed an authentic Indian meal (twice!), and loved the food preparation, presentation, and taste -- but the best part of the experience was the care provided by the owner who made sure that we enjoyed our dinner. The owner had the meals prepared at the spice level that we desired, as my friend enjoyed his meal... More

We came to this restaurant by chance because we were sick of Italian food! It was well worth the chance... absolutely beautiful food, hot and plenty of it! Felt very welcome and relaxed. Defiantly worth a visit! Lovely!

On holiday from the UK, we visited Kohinoor on a Wednesday evening in Oct 2016. Firstly, as we entered we felt as if we had walked into a familes living room, un-invited. When we was eventually pointed to our seat in the corner of the restaurant away from what seemed to be the owners family gathering, we started by looking... More

We had a delightful meal at Kohimoor. Everything served was very tasty, even better than some of the Indian food we enjoy in the States. The chicken Korma, chicken jalfreze, and tandoori chicken were all good choices. The atmosphere was casual, and the prices were reasonable. It was so nice to enjoy a non-Italian meal after five days of pasta!

I visited Kohinoor twice in the 7 days I spent at the Vatican. This is a family run restaurant and the food is really authentic. The owners are friendly and the food is tasty. They can make the food based on your ability to be adventurous with spice. I asked them to make the chicken dishes spicy and I enjoyed... More
