Beautiful traditional Italian food. If you want an English breakfast you're in the wrong country! Gnocchi was best I ever had

We had the english breakfast and the eggs were not very well cooked. My bf's bacon had two strings of hair on it...dont know if it was from the bacon because it was very short and thin... Chocolate croissants were ok.

The service is awful as you have to ask three times before you can get what you have asked for. Then I ordered a meal which ended being something else brought up on the table and finally, when we asked for the bill we observed that we had been charged 3 euros for a so called "bottle of water" which... Fed up with finding contrasting reviews that ranged from "this is the best restaurant ever" to "this is the worst restaurant ever" to "I found a hair in my food and this disgusted me so much it resulted in my never being able to eat solids again", on pretty much every restaurant in Rome, my wife and I decided to... One of my favourite restaurants, where despite the tourist area, there are always many Italian guests. Food delicious (especially starters and pasta!), friendly and efficient service and first rate location. The red house wine is also above average.... basically, a place I love going back to.

We went in for dinner on a Sunday evening. We received a very warm and friendly welcome. We both had pizza which was amazing - I had four cheese my husband had salami - accompanied with a lovely bottle of white wine. Would definitely recommend as although it's in one of the main tourist areas it felt really cosy and... More

The food was tasty, but what impressed us most was the service. The staff was fun and engaging, especially with our kids (ages 4, 6 and 8). The pizza and pasta were great, but our favorite dish was the rosemary focaccia. We all enjoyed our dining experience there so much that we dined there a second time before leaving Rome.

Found this place by accident one night at the start of our honeymoon and we knew we would need to visit again before we left Rome! Staff were so friendly and helpful, suggesting wine for us and recommending meals. Only restaurant we were asked how the food was and if we needed anything else. Great atmosphere and food was delicious.... More

My wife and I were looking for a place to eat that would have great food, great staff, and a great environment and Mastro Ciccia had them all! We cannot emphasize how much we enjoyed our dining experience with Andrea and Gabrielle!! These two gentlemen really added to our phenomenal dining experience! Everything on the menu from the antipasta to... More
