We were there several times for dinner because it was close to our apartment. We eat pizza and pasta. Average food, and staff was very bad and slow.

This restaurant was very close to our hotel so it was ideal after a full days of walking! Only thing is they let a cat in that each staff member rubs and feeds.......not too sure if the staff washed their hands after - esp the kitchen staff who were coming out with food!

Strega is famed for its wood-fired pizzas and rightly so. There is a good selection and they are delicious. Service is swift and friendly. Such a shame that the desserts let it down. The tiramisu was lacking a sponge base and the panna cotta was served as a square solid lump that was scarcely edible. The wine list was good.... More

We enjoyed a good meal at Ristorante Strega on a recent Sunday evening. The service was professional and friendly. My only complaint is the lack of a non-smoking environment for customers. Although the signage indicates an 'indoor dining room', we were told that there was nothing available indoors and ushered to a patio table. There was no evidence that their... More

We stumbled upon this restaurant near our hotel and decided to give it a try. The bottle of chianti we had was amazing, and the food was delicious. We ordered tomato bruschetta to start (we intended to share so only ordered one, then it was one slice of bread so we cut it in half, but I'd recommend one per... More

OK place but definitely not on Rome restaurant bucket list. Pasta is good but number of accompanying shrimp were very few. Massive antipasto plate and very good tiramisu but wine is overpriced and of mediocre quality for Rome. Service efficient and friendly. Not a bad place just not a real good one. Not highly recommended.

This is right around the corner from our hotel, the Artemide, and the desk staff recommended it. Service was spotty, but there was a table of 22 (bachelor party?) next to us. The pizza was good (very thin crust). If you're in the neighborhood, stop in, but don't necessarily go out of your way to eat here.

went twice as food and service was great. Reasonably priced for the area, pizza freshly cooked in wood stove was delicious. tiramisu was fabulous. Staff were friendly. we were seated quickly, drinks arrived quickly with food not far behind. Free shots of limoncello at the end of the meal. Delightful. As they are set off the road you are also... Food was merely ok, service was horrible. They forgot one of our orders and never brought bread to the table. Only went because our scheduled forced us to have an early dinner and it was one of the few places open. Will opt for anything else next time.

We arrived to a warm greeting, drinks arrived promptly food not far behind but very fresh and very good. we shared a mix of Pizzas and pasta the seafood pasta was very tasty indeed. staff went above and beyond when my husband split a Tomato seafood sauce on my new white dress. they were very attentive and got the stain...
