Huge place to eat so our fear was that it would be too touristy. However, it feels like you are in a giant tavern and the food is tastes and looks homemade. Also they are really fast with your order. Wow! Really enjoyed the food and atmosphere here.

Having struggled the previous night to find this restaurant we made a concerted effort to find it. Once we got to restaurant it was packed full of local romans, we managed to get a table & order our food. We ordered traditional food ravioli, rigatoni and fritto misto. The food was stunning in taste and favour, the atmosphere was lively... More

Lovely evening in a packed local restaurant. The atmosphere was very friendly , the staff accepting of our terrible Italian and with great local fare. All in all a lovely evening.

We stumbled upon this restaurant when looking for another restaurant. It is close to the victor Emmanuele monument and parallel to Via Corso . It was full of locals on the chosen night. What it doesn't have is white table cloths , expensive wine lists, snotty waiters who don't care once you are in the door, food that is focused... More

Cosy, not very touristy and funny. Had a lovely, inexpensive meal with a litre of cheap (but better than UK supermarket plonk) red wine. The beers are great too. Would recommend to anyone.

Staying in Trevi

Neighbourhood Profile
A non-stop photo and souvenir opportunity, Trevi is all about action. From early morning through the wee hours, the piazza surrounding Trevi Fountain hosts a never-ending flow of tourists hoping to make a wish or take a selfie. Clever restaurants, charming gelaterias, uncanny bars, kitsch shops, and a range of hotels make up the local landscape. Beneath the bustle are the remains of an ancient neighbourhood that you can visit by heading over to a repertoire cinema and asking for a peek underground. There is something for everyone, but if peace and quiet are what you seek, plan to visit in the early morning hours.
