We enjoyed the simplicity and honest, good food here that we dined here twice during our stay in Rome. The restaurant was busy both times we visited. Although it is in a tourist area, it does not cater to tourists which is something I found refreshing. The menu is in Italian and the wait staff speak some English but not... More

This place is always busy with locals and tourists. Food never dissapointed, service is good and funny. Expect to be crammed in a bustling indoor area with small tables, canteen atmosphere and wast meniu to choose from. Food tastes like you are eating at nonna and waiters will give you an evil eye if you dont know what is what.... More

We really enjoyed our lunch here. As others have said there isn't much English spoken, but that's what makes it great.

I came to this place as a friend from Rome recommended it. She recommended me to have the "scarmoza affumicata", which is just amazing. I didn't find it in other restaurants I visited in Rome. I also tried the "bruscheta pomodoro". Everything really good. A must to visit while in Rome.

Whilst exploring the side streets near the Trevi Fountain we came across this little gem. We called in for a drink as one of our party loves Peroni! With four different types of Peroni and draught red and white wine which was very cheap it was a perfect find. We asked to look at menu and although it was getting... More

the food here's okay. we ordered the cannelloni and sea bass. both were good. the problem is the restaurant doesn't have a menu in English and only one of the waiters spoke english and it was busy lunch hour so ordering was a bit rushed when we finally got someone's attention.

Well this restaurant is always busy so a wait is necessary but in my opinion completely worth it! This was my second time there and I enjoyed it as much as the first. Try the carbonara its awesome! Some waiters are not the friendliest but the ones I had were amazing. I will deffo go back!

Came here upon recommendation and it was fine. Loud beer-hall style restaurant with plenty of vocal locals! Our waiter seemed totally perplexed by his job, and got our food order wrong once, and our drinks order wrong twice. As I was having a pasta dish and a meat dish, whereas my wife was having a starter and a pasta dish,... More

We came across this place by chance and decided to try it as I had had surfeit of pizza I opted for the knackwurst , sauerkraut and chunky fried potatoes. I found the sausage to very mediocre with an almost pink lint texture. We enjoyed our shared salad though. My wife had spaghetti bolognese which was nothing special. Service was... More

My son and I stopped by for lunch after a morning of sightseeing and really enjoyed the experience. Locals and more locals, no English menu and amazingly delicious food! I had the the caprese salad, gnocchi and house wine and it was really good - the gnocchi was light and cooked perfectly. The house red wine was very good. My... More

Staying in Trevi

Neighbourhood Profile
Trevi
A non-stop photo and souvenir opportunity, Trevi is all about action. From early morning through the wee hours, the piazza surrounding Trevi Fountain hosts a never-ending flow of tourists hoping to make a wish or take a selfie. Clever restaurants, charming gelaterias, uncanny bars, kitsch shops, and a range of hotels make up the local landscape. Beneath the bustle are the remains of an ancient neighbourhood that you can visit by heading over to a repertoire cinema and asking for a peek underground. There is something for everyone, but if peace and quiet are what you seek, plan to visit in the early morning hours.
