The place is a very traditional restaurant. After the new owners restored the premise, the look is very clean, quite bright but still with the original look, thanks to the old Roman bricks wall which is part of the wall that connects the house to...More

We had dinner here, after reading the reviews on Tripadvisor....and we're very happy we trusted them! The menu was told by the waiter - no paper to be seen. It was short but sweet. We had: pasta alla gricia (an amatriciana without the tomato): slightly...More

Nice atmosphere and service. The dishes (Carbonara and caccio e peppe) were very well prepared and tasty. Pasta cooked to perfection. It deserves a visit. The house wine is a house wine, then no complain.

This "trattoria" would be tipical but it is just a restaurant where the owners think that tourists are sheeps ready for shaving! No tipical starter with italian salumi, Carbonara and griccia were cooked in a wrong way. Just a little better the second course. Good...More

Really good meal. Simple choice of wines, nothing glamorous but spot on. The genuine Roman article. Very friendly service.

The list of items available isn't too long (this is something I like in restaurants). Pasta dishes fantastic: Gricia, Carbonara; Cacio e Pepe. Excellent meat. Leave space for swets.

Try an authentic Italian evening - we liked it very much...it is simpel and great. I was here 5 years ago and it hasn't changed...they still only speak italian. We had homemade pasta with mushrooms and rabbit

Trastevere ("beyond the Tiber") is like a faded
postcard, a little worn around the edges but still
charming. With its wide-open piazzas, meandering
streets, weathered Renaissance buildings, and
overgrown personality, it's become an irresistible
mecca for visitors. Trastevere is an enclave of
entertainment - a rotating set of street performers
entertains almost every night, and unforgettable
