The restaurant was packed and we had to wait a little to get a table. Not the best seating, but we knew why we were here: the truffle pizza. It did not disappoint, absolutely delicious. The rest of our meal was less impressive, not to say disappointing: good burata, but it is the least you can expect; not great pasta... More

Da Francesco restaurant. THE MOST AMAZING pizza ever. Our tour guide took us, and she was so right. The beer was cold the pizza was amazing, the best I have had. We had Italian meats, we had brochette with pepperoni, we had truffle with goat cheese, amazing. One pizza will feed 2 people. In my case 1 pizza fed me.... More

Probably new owners. The food was perfect but the staff very rude. A popular place, you could tell that they wanted you to finish fast. New customers that will pay for a unpleasant treatment, but hopefully great food!

Very close to Piazza Navona, although it was crowded on Saturday evening we managed to find a table indoors, there are also a few tables outside in a narrow street. Service is fast, we started with a pizza (cheese and prosciutto) which was perfect and as main course we ate Texan steak and Da Francesco filet with barolo wine. Both... More

Warmly welcomed by the waiters we were placed on a crowded terrace on the street. Food was very good and staff was all time keeping high spirits. Nothing extraordinary but completely advisable. If you have the chance do not miss the show of waiters unfolding extra table to enlarge its terrace in the blink of an eye.

We first tasted puntarelle about 5 years ago when an Italian couple seated next to us ordered it and moaned and groaned as they ate it. We asked what they were eating and we immediately ordered some for ourselves. It was truly an epiphany. Puntarelle is a salad green in the chicory family which is grown in the area of... More

I came across this restaurant whilst watching a video blog on YouTube, i immediately made note of it before visiting Rome, as the pizza looked INCREDIBLE. My partner and i made an effort to find this restaurant in the middle of a day of site seeing. It was about a 20 minute walk from the Trevi Fountain. I'm so glad... More

For over fifty years the restaurant carries the name of the Roman culinary tradition with great respect for the old style and careful research for its variations and innovations . Typical menu of traditional Roman cuisine , spaghetti matriciana , oxtail, roast suckling pig , fettuccine gricia , saltimbocca alla romana , a good pizza.
