We tried gnocco fritto and we were not disappointed. Second courses were great: horse raw meat was a super tasty surprise and asina was very good.
Good place to taste typical meals from Piacenza, and ancient recipes, like donkey or horse meat, apart of typical tortelli, beans, etc. and the excellent home made deserts.
You can eat typical Piacenza plates as "pisarei e fasò, picula ad caval, coppa piacentina, salame piacentino, tortelli di ricotta and so on. All these plates are very tasty

Every year I come back because it worths the travel from Milan. Good food, broad choice of courses, typicals from this area. Staff very friendly, atmosphere very nice and easy, no dress code mandatory. Prices are more than fair. A must stop, definitely!!
