This restaurant was recommended by our B&B next door, but we found the food not good, even the pasta that he recommended, the service was slow, and on top of that, the bill was inaccurate.

We wanted to eat early (7PM) and this restaurant was open. I had a very tasty spaghetti with clams, and my husband has an excellent paella with an enormous amount of well prepared seafood and not much rice.

This restaurant reminded me of the places you can no longer find in Little Italy in New York: cosy, comfortable, not fancy; walls covered with caricatures; wooden bar; and enormous quantities of good, honest food. I had a delicious tagliatelle with salmon, and a huge pile of fried calamari. I could only eat half, but luckily the waiter seemed to... More

Had lunch here after a morning looking at the famous mosaics of Ravenna. The food is good traditional Italian and the service friendly. The decor ia a little too reminiscent of English cricket clubs, but what the heck eh?

I went there with two coworkers and we were disappointed: my first course (cappelletti, something similar to tortellini, but bigger) was almost cold and tasted ordinary. The meat course (roasted rabbit) was ok but, again, the side order (spinach) was cold. The choice of wines is small and didn't seem exciting, so I had a beer (only three brands available).... More

Started with penne with seppia which was quite good. Then I had grilled fresh fish which was ok, not overcooked, but they left a lot of bones behind. The zuppa inglese dessert was nothing like I've had elsewhere and was terrible. The house white was entirely bland. The house red was fine. Basically there's nothing horribly wrong here but I... Very good traditional Italian food, great service. Restaurant is slightly off the beaten track for tourists, but locals abound! Don't order the set menu unless you have two stomachs, as it's a HUGE amount of food. Very good value for money.

We ate well here; it's a pleasant place, within the centro storico though away from the major attractions. It was pretty good value, and not crowded. A decent 'mainstream' sort of place.

Searching for a place to eat after we had enjoyed San Vitale church, we tried to find a place a bit off the tourist paths. So exploring the Via Pasolini was intentional as it looked sufficiently like a side street. What we did not expect, was to find a place where we could get a very fine meal at a... More
