I came here I don't remember ho manyu times - sometimes two a week- for ice-cream, even in autumn/quite winter. It is simply the best ice cream in Trieste and also one of the best I have tasted. A huge variety of different flavours, all good. To be tried.

Lots of superb flavours...difficult to choose. Personally, my favourites are millefoglie, chestnut spumone in autumn and pinolata. Chocolate berlina with cream topping is also a must. Never found a place alike in the world.

historic gelateria, small, delicious, beautifully re-furbished, a classic for all trustiness who call it "Zampega" (it is situated in via Gheha, hence the mash-up between Zampolli and via Ghega), vast array of tastes to be eaten either seated or on the go. No parking space - a person goes in and buys the ice-cream, the other waits in the car... More

Nice place, a little far away from the center in the direction of the railway station. Many varieties of gelato including very exotic ones. We tried the Marsala one and that was delicious!

What a wonderful place, it was good, we stayed 3 days in Trieste so I was able to try most of the tastes. The chocolate and nut ice creames in about 6 variations (or more?) the different fruity ones, you should try it, it is worth to visit if just in the region, it is just a few minutes from... More
