When it came time for lunch on our tour with Diego, the clouds opened up....uggg After going to the places Diego wanted to take us and finding all of them full, we advised him we really only wanted a light sandwich or whatever. He then took us to La Cantina del Pescatore, which is right next door to the Church... More

After we checked in we were walking through town and there was a table outside the Cantina. Great Bruschetta and Focaccia sandwich. They also had a lot of gourmet food to purchase to take away.

We had several visits here during our stay in Montorosso, it was a great place for coffee, and a pre-dinner glass of wine, which comes with a plate of nibbles. They also stock a variety of local produce, we bought a jar of pesto to make a pasta dish - superb. Run by a young local couple who are friendly... More

A great place to stop for the morning coffee and breakfast - they will make your eggs to your liking, even omelets. The service and staff are the friendliest we found and the food is homemade and special.

We arrived at 1 pm and order a brussecheta and foccacia both wonderful and perfectly balanced. We also order a fresh lemon pie which leaves you wanting more and more. Quick to order and quick to serve... it is what you expect in any place. We need to come back for the fresh Tiramizu (it was gone when we arrived)... More

We attended this restaurant as part of a group tour. While we appreciate they were able to accommodate a group of 50 (perhaps prearranged?) we were humiliated by the staff. The group were led in and seated, then orders were taken in the reverse order (those seated last ordered and were eating first). Our table was in the middle of... More

We stopped for a wine and beer while waiting for the restaurant nearby to open. They were out of the Vetua wine unfortunately so the waitress suggested an alternative, however it tasted nothing like Vetua and I left it unfinished. She did however bring some complementary nibbles which were nice!

Stayed inside both times, tried a couple of different focaccias and bruschettas from the lunch menu. Focaccia Liguria was the favourite. Local beers are good if expensive. Place super friendly even in the busy times.

As a solo older lady I could not have been more welcomed here. Friendly service, tolerant of my so so Italian, and best of all yummy breakfasts. It also becomes a wine bar later in the afternoon.
