Pesto lasagna and linguine with anchovies were delightful dishes. Caprese salad was fresh and delicious. Quaint location in an alley with resident cats.

We recently dined at Gastronomia San Martino and loved it. The food and service were both excellent. The place is tiny so queue up before they open or prepare to wait some. Very reasonable prices and delicious cuisine.
Fantastic food! The pasta melts in your mouth! Quaint place and very busy, but worth the wait. Very reasonable prices.
Great place, great food. Not too many tables so get there at opening time or be prepared to wait. It is worth the wait!
This restaurant was so good, we ate here two nights in a row. It is run by a lovely couple who make everything fresh every day. It opens for dinner at 6:00 and the tables fill up quickly. We tried the pasta with pesto and...the octopus salad the first night. The second night, the sea bream with potatoes and the spaghetti with fresh anchovies. We also had a side order of mixed vegetables. The food is delicious and represents the cuisine of the area.More
We both enjoyed the seafood pasta with anchovies, mussels and calamari. The service was good and prices reasonable. This was one of the more crowded restaurants in the area so that says allot.
Food was amazing. Trofie pesto was the best ever! My husband had the anchovies pasta & loved his as well. Moreno & his wife are so sweet & make the best meal!
Amazing food and great service! Small place so make sure to be there in time. When we visited for dinner the opening hours were 6pm - 9pm. We had caprese, pasta with seafood and ravioli stuffed with cheese and walnut sauce. Great wine too!!
The BEST food in town and that is a tough thing to do in Monterosso! The service and food is off the charts. Don’t miss this spot! My fav: Caprese starter followed by the Swordfish
Honest review: Server was just rude…no other way to put it! However, the food was really good so at least that was a blessing.
We were recommended this restaurant by our G-Adventure guide, Anna. “ order the trofie Pesto” she text. We went to the restaurant, but it is fairly small, located on a quaint alley, and they close at 9 PM. All the tables were filled, so we...thought, “let’s do take way!” No regrets! The pesto pasta was amazing and my husband ordered the seafood linguine, which was just as good. Tonight we went back to the restaurant for Takeaway. I thought, maybe I would have the seafood salad, but the owner of the restaurant recommended the squid soup which is really more like a stew. We each enjoyed a glass of their house wine on the steps while waiting for the food to be prepared. It was out of this world and maybe one of the best meals I’ve ever had. My husband enjoyed the ravioli with Bolognese sauce, it was perfect! Wondering what I might order tomorrow night?!?More
After seven days of wonderful food in Emilia Romagna and two excellent dinners in Vernazza, this was our best meal in Italy. The menu is unusual for Italy: only Antipasti and Entrees, no Dolce. We shared the most beautiful and tasty Caprese ever, then two...entrees: a fabulous cold shrimp, asparagus and tomatoes dish, and Ligurian swordfish with tomatoes and olives, served with crostini for sopping up the sauce. That dish was nothing short of to die for. We washed it all down with a half liter of very good Cinque Terre DOC Bianca. Don’t bother calling —they don’t take reservations. They have very few tables, so get there early. We showed up at about five o’clock and sat on a little bench until they opened at six. A street cat kept us company while we waited.More
They close the kitchen at 9pm and there was always a queue before we visit this restaurant. After we finally ate here, I can definitely say that it worths waiting at outside before you have your dinner. Mouth watering mozzarella plate as a side dish...and lasagne was beyond perfection. Not to mention, their service is professional. Must visitMore
Buonissimo! Great food prepared with care and dedication from the owners who work in the kitchen. Few seats as it is located in a small street but it added to the charm of the place.
Everything was outstanding — the seafood was cooked so well and maintained its taste and moisture, and not overpowered
