Since I have come home from Vernazza I have tried very unsuccessfully in finding pastries like those at Il Pirata! Enjoy them while you can...really everything we ate there - weather breakfast or dinner - was excellent! Staff was very friendly too.

Best breakfast in Vernazza- forget typical western breakfasts though (ie eggs) this is Italy so be prepared to eat like the Italians. These guys do the best coffee and croissants in vernazza (nine types of croissants!) so def head here for your morning pick me up.

Saw this whilst walking on our first day. We ate one evening and I had the bream with mussels and shrimps which was amazing. Breakfast the next day was a selection of 26 pastries. We had four. Simply lovely. Recommended place with lovely staff

We had breakfast and dinner at this fine establishment three times. Pastries are freshly made daily and orange juice made to order. Cappuccino was excellent too! We only had a chance to eat dinner here 1 time but it was delicious! My friend had the lasagne and tiramisu and loved it! I had the risotto with mushroom and it was... More

My wife and I visited and came here based on the Tripadvisor reviews. Dinner was excellent the first time (the mixed seafood appetizer was a highlight) so we came back for breakfast the next day. Breakfast was great too. We originally got the bruschetta, quiche, and a peach pastry which were all so good we got another piece of quiche... More

We thoroughly enjoyed dinner here. The risotto was the best we have ever tasted and the dessert of panacotta with mixed fruit was amazing. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The location was slightly out of the main area and wonderfully quiet and peaceful. Highly recommended.

We stayed in Vernazza for just a few days, we had breakfast here twice (even though breakfast would have been covered elsewhere by our B&B) and had lunch once. Everything we ate from here was super delicious, some of my favorite food during our entire 2 week trip to Italy. The breakfast pastries are amazing, there's such a wide variety... More

Yes get over it- they don't serve eggs- they even have a sign- somewhat humorous. But what they do serve is amazing. We are not huge pastry eaters but we decided to stop her before our hike to Riomaggiore today. The pastries were absolutely the best we ever have had- especially the cream filled croissant. Worth the trip. Take a... More

We ate in this establishment during our trip to Cinque Terre. It's a bit out of the village of Vernazza so there isn't so many tourists. It's definitely the best lasagna I've ever eaten, thank you!

We had the absolute pleasure of enjoying a wonderful dinner here. The gnocchi was outstanding and pasta with seafood was equally as good. Very friendly staff and great service. They were so pleasant, we returned the next day for breakfast.
