The outdoor setting was beautiful. It was not the setting itself, but the views. The town in one side, and the sunset over the ocean to the other side. Easy to find, just walk in Vernazza towards the ocean, till the end of the road. Food was good and service was friendly.

We ate here twice during our 3 days in Cinque Terre. Dinner one night and lunch the next. Has both inside seating and tables out on the edge of the harbor. Inside seating is crowded. We had a variety of pizza and salads. All were well prepared and tasty. Lunch on a beautiful, if warm, Cinque Terre day was crazy... More

We had dinner here twice while staying in Vernazza. We ordered pizza and took it to our room one evening. The other meal was under an umbrella on their terrace by the water. We enjoyed lasagna and fresh pasta both with their pesto. The terrace was filled each time we walked by, so this a sign of a restaurant that... More

We had just hiked from Monterosso to Vernazza and we were hot, thirsty, and hungry. I wanted to just buy some take away pizza and eat near the harbor but my husband wanted to cool off indoors and have access to a bathroom. We didn't realize that Baia Saracena had a lovely terrace with umbrelllas to shield you from the... More

Slow night, only customer. Best pesto we ever had. Don't let the paper napkins fool you. The house red was nice too.

The only thing that works for this place is the location. It can't get much better than this. Ideally placed to watch the sunset and sip a glass of cheap wine. That's where the issue starts. They could so much more to this place but it looks like a lazy attempt since they're guaranteed for a constant flow of foot... More

We had the best pizzas of our trip at Baia Saracena, crisp base and good taste. The setting overlooking the harbour is beautiful as the sun was setting. It was such a relaxing enjoyable evening. The waiters were friendly and even if you have to wait a bit i think this is normal in Italy and I would prefer it... More

If you crave a pizza and a beer/ wine this is place to go . Nothing fancy and wine is so so but the location is excellent just by the ferry looking over the bay. I had the full works capriciossa ( artichokes, ham etc) wife had pesto pizza. We loved the food . Give it a try

Vernazza is full of fine restaurants including Baia Saracena for pasta and seafood. But...try their pizza. They have many traditional Italian choices. Try something you haven't had before, wash it down with an Italian beer. Inside the little restaurant, outside under an umbrella or down on the waters edge. You will enjoy their pizza.
