Rude staff, do not waste your time and look for anote place. Food is just OK, but the Staff is not welcoming, the gentleman that serve us was unfriendly and rude. Will never come back again!

Afternoon drinks at this long-time favorite, since decades. Familiar faces, after decades. And tastes, since decades. Happily, a new Colombian face love-joining the team!
Excellent meal. All we ordered was perfect. Good service and a great value for this well lovsted ristorante on the Main Street. Better than paying high prices for poor food by the water
We bought a coffee so our son could use the toilet. We had to sit outside on a bench as they would not let us sit at a table. The man then had a go at my son for not asking when he came out...of the toilet which we had obviously with the purchase of the coffee. Very rude poor service felt really badly treated.More
Yes, the location is great but quite simply the food isn’t. It’s average and overpriced for what you receive. We had spaghetti with seafood, stuffed muscles (5 or 6 muscles which is a main course) and pasta with a tomato and neat sauce. Staff aren’t exactly...friendly either. Would say go somewhere else to eat.More
We had just arrived in Vernazza for a three-night stay and chose this place for lunch. And we're glad we did. Our server was a super-friendly guy who spoke both English and Spanish in addition to his native Italian. It turned out his wife, who...managed the restaurant, was from Colombia, which completely endeared the place to my Colombian-American wife. We sat outside underneath the white umbrellas in a wide spot on the Via Roma main drag. The restaurant itself is on the other side of the Via Roma, and the servers did yeoman's work hustling dishes and drinks from the restaurant to the outdoor tables. Of particular note was the prime people watching—even better than in the piazza by the marina because it is about a third of the way from the train station to the marina, and you get to see a vertiable parade of tourists descending from the station every quarter- or half-hour. Also of note was the lovely view of the tiny chapel of Santa Marta, an iconic local landmark that survived the devastating landslides in the flood of 2011. It being my first meal in the region, I opted for the trofie pesto, the signature pasta dish of Liguria. It was luscious in its basil-based creaminess, and I truly was enamored of the unique pasta shape of trofie, which I'd never tried before. Bread (w/olive oil and vinegar) and a couple of large Moretti beers completed the meal from me. I was satisfied and happy.More
Don’t know why this places gets so many negative reviews. We got marinated anchovies, pesto trofie pasta and fried calamari and they were all great. The servers were kind and quick to move everyone inside when it started to rain. Prices were also comparable to...anything sit-down you’ll find in Vernazza for dinner.More
Good local seafood cuisine. A bit pricey for Italia, but hey - one can understand that- it’s on the primary connector street from the train station to the piazza/harbour/beach where gobs of tourists wander. Still cheaper than most US restaurants. But come for dinner after...the day trippers and tours leave the town, and you’ll have a relaxing and delicious experience. And there will be more time to shmooze with the excellent and fun servers.More
We ate at this cute little restaurant last night and really enjoyed it. We had the ghnocchi and anchovies with potatoes and tomatoes. Both were very good. Our server was very friendly and helpful. Would definitely eat here again!
We had rainy weather that day in Cinque Terre, so opted to get drinks here. I was pleasantly surprised. We visited Venice, Florence, Lucca, Cinque Terre and Rome, and my #1 favorite drink was the lemon spritz at this restaurant in Vernazza. Also ordered fried...calamari, which I thought was one of the best fried calamari's I've had--with a heavy coating like fried chicken and very fresh calamari.More
Unfriendly , unwelcoming - bland food. The man who was our host/waiter barely acknowledged us - he was curt throughout, seemed like our coming to his restaurant was some type of imposition on him. The food was incredibly bland , gnocchi with shrimp , and...seafood pasta. The seafood was sparse and wasn’t fresh, tastes like it came from frozen. Looking afterwards at this restaurants online menu , there is an asterisk that actually notes that in small type at the bottom. Give this place a big miss - nothing to redeem it .More
Very nice ambiance, a good waiter and excellent recommendations on food. The sea bass was baked and excellent. All was good.
Asked if there were any vegan options (we did not see them on posted menu prior to seating and Happy Cow reviewer mentioned they had a few vegan items)-waiter literally tossed a menu at us and didn’t answer. Saw nothing vegan on the menu and...left. Incredible to have such rude staff in a tourist area…but this seems to be the norm in Cinque Terre unfortunately. A local warned us to check our bill as some establishments will purposefully overcharge. Would not recommend-who needs bad service on vacation.More
We tried this cozy outdoor restaurant when we stayed in Vernazza. We ordered different kinds of pasta and seafood, and everything was absolutely delicious! To drink we had a white wine from Cinque Terre that was amazing! The waiter was friendly and funny and spoke...fluent english. Try this place if you're in Vernazza!More
The mixed starter was delicious, and so was the anchovis casserole, very tasty! The waiters were nice as well
