We came for dinner and we were delighted with both service and food. To be tried are the bottarga and the carbonara dei gamberi - a real delicacy! Service is careful and discreet. If you just want a glass of wine instead of a full bottle, just ask! Perfect night out in Voltri.

After eating nothing but cheese, cured meats, pasta and bread for 7 days we figured it was time for a salad. We found Il Gigante near the end of the beach with a nice view of the area. We both ordered big salads that were fresh, tasty, filling and provided good value for the money (~4.5 - 5 euros each).... More

Good sandwiches and an excellent frizzante! A good place to take a break from the sun! Quick service and what more can you demand?

This little "beach shack" is at the far end of the beach in Monterosso and would be very easy to miss...and I highly recommend you don't miss it if you're looking for a fresh, reasonable meal with excellent service. We ordered the tuna salad and the caprese salad along with a sparkling white wine - the service was prompt and... More

This is not really a Genoa restaurant - it is located in Voltri nearby, which is not a special town. But this restaurant is worth a stop. It has a simple, warm ambiance. The young lady who served us helped with translating the menu and was charming. We started with pasta and then had fish, of course, this is what... More

They throw olives, potato chips and nuts on the table as a freebie at Happy Hour. The one liter Moretti's are a great deal (get the bottle - not the draft). Lastly, if you want to spend a whole day on the beach, spend the 18 Euro and rent one of their lounge chairs. You get your own 'space', have... More
