I was brought here by some friends for an aperitivo and loved it. They serve some good salami and cheese with the wine. The decor of this restaurant/wine bar is also very very lovely with its old stone interiors! I hope to go for another aperitivo there again soon!

After doing a self-guided tour of Genoa all morning, we stopped by Taggiou's for some vino and a meat and cheese platter. The restaurant was full of locals. The food was excellent. The lunches were low in price and high in quality. An excellent place to stop for refreshments. If we ever go back to Genoa, we're going here again!

My husband and I ate there in early October. We were recommended the restaurant by our hotelier. It is a tiny place but has a lovely cosy feel. We ordered a bottle of chianti and this was served with a selection of cold cuts of meat, cheese and different types of fresh bread. The service was unobtrusive but good. Would... More

We didn't go looking for Taggiou, but stumbled across it when hunger hit us. We looked at several places to eat and Taggiou looked busy for what was an early dinner and decided to give it a try. The food and service were great and it was clearly a favorite with the local residents. Well worth a visit

I ve been there with friends brought by the rumors heard about this place. Fankly there is nothing really bad about eating here (as long as you are not that much into food I mean.) That said the place is nice and kind of original (even though not that much anymore these days) the location is in the heart of... More

I was visiting Genova for the first time and I found this small trattoria near Le Strade Nuove but a little away of all the tourist traps of the area. The place is cozy and small, with a daily menu including some nice appetizers like prosciuto crudo and mozzarella. I think is a good option if you are near the... More

Very small, cute and full of atmosphere, especially dinning on the second floor under the rafters! Mainly a menu of wonderful, freshly cut meats and cheese, served on a cutting board with excellent wine. I’ve been twice and always order the cold food; look forward to trying the hot selections. The restaurant is always busy! It can be found by... More
