One of the few restaurants near our hotel, we dined at Lanterna our first night. Not fancy or pretentious but delicious! Pasta with pesto out of this world. It is a small restaurant, few tables...but has a larger side room, which served a large group of dock workers after their shift. If you want to be where the locals are,... More

We were recommended this restaurant by our hotel (The Holiday Inn) and were not disappointed. It opens at 7.30pm and fills up quickly with locals. Small menu but everything was freshly prepared. Seafood was really fresh and delicious. We were with small children and the chef whipped up a main especially for them. Attentive service, lovely ambience. Went back twice... More

Was staying in a run down hotel before joining my ship. Found this on trip advisor and gave it a go. Opened at 1930 and filled immediately with locals and tourists. Food excellent. Not much English from front of house, but chef was immaculately dressed and spoke perfect english, would not hesitate to recommend this.

Food was excellent. Not a lot of english spoken but don't let it intimidate you. They are very friendly and helpful. The food was great, a little surprised when they brought a bottle of wine instead of just one glass More surprised when the bill came, VERY reasonable! Go to this restaurant, you will not be disappointed!

This may not be in the best position being right by the Ferry Terminal, but I believe it is well worth the visit. The food is excellent and as is the service. Not the best English but fun trying to converse! The seafood is very good. We visited twice in 4 days Buono Buono
