We began our holiday by having dinner here, and it was the perfect way to start. The food was excellent and swift, the staff were attentive and made sure we were happy. The wine was also very good qnd inexpensive, we drank a bottle of...Ligurian Vermentino for €13, and this was one of the more expensive bottles! It seemed to be a mix of tourists like us but also local people, which shows how good the food is here. We were very lucky to get a seat, as we hadn’t booked, we arrived 10 minutes before they opened and joined the existing queue. We’d eat there again in a heartbeat but we’d definitely book beforehand! We came here because of the multiple reviews i read. Especially about the pesto. There was a line before opening. They do take reservations. You can message on whatsapp It was heat wave and the restaurant faves the west. It was HOT even with AC...on. The pesto was mediocre and salty. The spaghetti with meat sauce was okay. The traditional meat sauce was good but also salty. The rabbit was the best meal, least salty.More

Lovely food & affordable prices. Typical Genoese cuisine. Although the staff were not very accommodating, I would still recommend this restaurant based on the quality of their food, their focaccia bread with pesto was delicious

We did have to wait about half an hour to be seated and then a little bit more for someone to bring us the menu. However, we did...have many options to choose from and the meal was good for the low prices assigned to each option. I visited this place 3 years ago. This time I regret choosing this restaurant for dinner while in Genova ,Quality has gone down. Taking more customers than they can handle. Food tasted really bad. We ended up feeling sick the whole night and the next...morning. I will not recommend.More

First of all we were excited to go to this restaurant because we heard good feedback but then we had to wait in a queue in front of the restaurant which is no problem but Italiens who came later then we did and stood behind...us got called in earlier. After this we had to wait 20 minutes to order something eventhough we asked the waiter multiple times just to give up our order to drink. Our starters came even before we got our water and our wine and overall we had to share 1 glass for the water an the wine… I orderd pasta with pesto which was OK but definitely not overwhelming and my girlfriend ordered a fresh Tuna which we both unfortunately didn’t like. Nevertheless I gave 2 Stars instead of 1 because the prices a pretty cheap and the house wine wasn’t bad.More

The place was packed and we showed up without any reservation. It was a bit chaotic waiting for a table but the waiter was really nice and the food really really cheap and tasty. Definitely suggested!

This place was recommended to us by a local bar man and it didn’t disappoint. Full of locals with a queue to get in (approx 20mins on Fri evening) it was worth every second of the wait. Service is brisk but very friendly and the...food was excellent - truly authentic of the local cuisine and unbelievably reasonable (3courses x 2, bottle of Prosecco and 2 x grappa all for €58). We had the veal, the grilled fish, the spaghetti con aoli, salad and sides, the most amazing tiaramisu and cheesecake too. Highly recommend a visit when in GenoaMore

This is a really traditional place that is flat out busy all the time and it’s because the food is brilliant. All traditional local dishes great pesto which it is famous for please stop here
