We were excited to eat here. Our drinks arrived ... Wasn't what we ordered but were told it was. And then meals came out and they weren't ideal. Didn't have the traditional flavors we expected. We left disappointed. Didn't feel we got value for money.

As suggested by the hotel staff , we had dinner here for 2 and it was a nice experience . Not a tourist place and full of noisy locals, we had the whole package , starter , Mains , Dolce and wine /water for not even a 40EU and quality it was. The staff was very attentive and worked their... More

Went here on our first night. Lucky to get a table but glad we did.Packed full of locals. The food was absolutely fantastic and great value for money. A very large range of pasta dishes for 8 euros. I had the carbornara which was lovely and a generous portion full of bacon. I followed this up with a massive pizza... More

Don't forget to order the antipasta, a wide variety of food and your whole table is set with dishes :) We have been her four times in a row since both the food as well as the hospitality was very good. Pure italian food, meat, fish, pasta, pizza, whatever you order... great food with a very good quality-price value.

My wife and I really enjoyed eating at this local restaurant. Like many of the restaurants in Le Spezia Al Quadrato is for locals not tourists but they worked really hard to make us feel at home. We tried several dishes and both of us agreed that the fresh pasta is the best. We also really enjoyed the house wine.

Dropped in late Friday evening with three friends - it was packed and we did not book however the owner found a table. We had a shared seafood spaghetti dish and a second fish course Huge portion , excellent food, great spot and to cap it all very reasonably priced Parking nearby is a challenge

Awesome pizza! These guys are great! 50 euros fed six hungry people. The spinach raviolis were a revelation.

We were recommended this restaurant by our hotelier; he was also the restaurant owners friend. It was more like a really nice takeaway, not a restaurant but don't let that fool you. The food here is fantastic. The staff are very friendly and the service is great. We had a really enjoyable evening and appreciated the recommendation. In the main... More

Situated outside the touristic area of La Spezia, this restaurant is a little gem. We had two primi piattis, two main courses, 1/2l wine and coffee for 40 €. And if you think the food was bad, you're wrong! The entries and the main courses were both delicious, real Italian food. the best proof there is, that almost only locals... More

Most tables were empty, but we were asked to wait for about twenty minutes. Our instinct told us to stay. People came. After half an hour, a table was free and we around it. For a very soft price, I have eaten one of the best grilled fish (mixed) of my life. And more efficient as alcool to warm up... More
