I have never eaten such a disgusting Salade Nicoise in my life, a bit of mashed up tuna fish with anchovies on the top, resting on grated carrots and potates and NO olives. Very bad quality for money.
This restaurant has a good site by the sea, and obviously attracts a lot of people because of its position. particularly on Friday market days
Beware the 17/5% service charge in small print added onto the menu price which is already expensive enough for an Italian trattoria.
Cash only accepted. To be avoided. Try one of the restaurants on the road towards the station instead.
The waitress, however, was very polite and helpful.

At a first glance, it’s situated beautifully and perfectly, How bad could it be right? Very bad is the answer. I understand that we are tourists and we shouldn’t expect too much in tourist ridden places but this was a terrible experience. The wait staff was uninterested in serving us. When we finally did get served the food was incredibly over priced and very underwhelming. I think it was microwaved or pre-made days ago but whatever, It was so poor. They forced a bottle of wine on us which I refused twice and then when I finally said “ya fine” as I was annoyed, I found out that it was their most expensive one. Which in this sort of place wasn’t that expensive but it was the principle. Then they added random “services fees” to our bill (took me asking 4!! times) that made up 20% of the total and then verbally request a tip. Please don’t go. These guys know how to get your money and give nothing in return for it.

I visited this resteraunt in 2018 and had one of the best pizzas I've ever had. So when I came back in 2022 I had to go back as a priority.
I wish I hadn't.
The resteraunt looked the same, same manager, same menus etc. So I was very excited at first. The first sigh that something had changed was the staff allowed the fake glasses/ handbags and jewelry salesmen to come into the restaurant and directly hassle the customers at their tables. This was extremely off putting and in some cases very uncomfortable.
Next came the food. Unfortunately the pizzas weren't even close to how they used to be. Dry, no flavour and not enjoyable in the slightest. The couple next to us only had a few slices and couldn't finish. This was a far cry from the best pizza I'd even eaten 4 years ago.
At the end of service I asked for the bill. The bill seemed very high, two pizzas, side of fries, a coke and a fanta... €51. The bill mentioned it has included a 7% service charge but from our calculations this was more like 20%. Being that the bill was not itemised we couldn't really see. We produced a card which the waiter refused. I said that I'd paid card last time but he insisted on cash. We have him more than the amount as we didn't have exact change. We waited for our change but he didn't come back so after 5 minutes we just left. Not knowing the Italian language we thought complaining would he pointless.
Very disappointed in this resteraunt and felt we were scammed by the waiter out of at least €15. They obviously had a backhand deal with the tat salesmen as we're were approached around 9 times during our meal.
A far cry from what it used to be, I will not be returning.

I don’t know what the bottom people were complaining about . Yes there is a 17% charge added on but in America, we tip 15% and this food I was served along with my wife’s were worth a 20% tip at minimal. My pizza was delicious and the cheese was amazing. Being from Chicago I am quite the pizza snob. My wife had a tagliatelle dish that was Devine. The gentleman who served us was kind and multi lingual. He did not talk down to us like in Monaco. Highly recommend this restaurant. It must be said the traffic was low and this might be a reason why the waiter had extra time to talk to us.

Very touristic, but above all very expensive. A waitress takes you in who mistakes you for a stranger, but nothing compared to what awaits you. Panoramic terrace with pigeons that walk around you, pizzas from 15 to 18€ that take you a week to digest from how heavy they are: they look like bricks. A coffee 2,90€, uns beer 33cl 5,90€ as if we were in Portofino. Covered by them defined surcharge calculated as a percentage at 17%.
Two of us spent 55€ on 2 pizzas, a small beer, a coke and a coffee.
Quality that leaves much to be desired for the price spent. I will not return and I do not Recommendation.

We did not take the time to look at the review site before entering the restaurant, because given the daylight saving time we arrived (13:30), we thought it will close, we eat there.
There is the sea view, but also the waste they do not bother to pick up at the foot of the terrace. It's gross.
I'm not talking about the birds lying around at your feet.
The dishes are frozen dishes.
We thought we would feast on Italian products.... what a disappointment...
3 spaghetti a frozen schnitzel, up to tiramisu out of the tray of large artisanal distribution for an exorbitant Award to which must be added 17% for the service...
It's a flight!!!
Still water is not served. You do not drink during the meal without buying your water.
Don't go in there. Apart from the sea view, if you also like garbage cans and feathers.
During my next stay, I would go further to cleaner and less thieving restaurants.
I forgot to mention, toilets are Turkish toilets that smell like public toilet piss, it sucks for a restaurant that has to respect hygiene rules

Day visit to Ventimiglia while staying near Nice.
Chose this place as it was on the sea-front and we were hungry. To be fair, the food was not bad but the bill we were presented with after the meal was staggering. Three simple main dishes, two soft drinks and a spritz and two coffees.
The bill totalled 112 Euros which was almost exactly twice what we paid for a similar meal in Monaco the day before. This was partly due to a 17% service charge stuck on top of the bill.
Had the food/service/setting been exceptional then perhaps this would be justified but this is not the case. The building is scruffy and the location likewise. Service was offhand and it’s fair to say this is one to avoid.
After leaving, somewhat stunned, we walked past a number of much more appealing looking places on the road back into town.
Very poor experience.
Watch out for the sting.

I don't think I've ever eaten in a place that combines terrible food, very poor service and very high prices!!
14.90 for a terrible niçoise, 4.90 for a bottle of water and 3.37 for a service that includes mediocre waiters and 70s oil and vinegar kits (for style and accumulated dirt)
Obviously it was already clear from the outside that it was mediocre, but being in a hurry due to work I stopped and discovered that there is no limit to the worse!!

To flee, and I am not kidding, exorbitant Award, gross pizza, those of frozen crossroads are 1000 times better, tomato salad mozza sold 16 €, a shame for a hot tomato and very little mozza, frankly experience that I regret, restaurant catch nigaud, 211 € for 4 pizza and two rotten salad. Worst of all, when the waiter asked us at the end if it was good, we all told him it was vile, and he said, “I know I already told my boss but he doesn’t care,” what do we think of that??? In short go your way

Un furto! DO NOT REVENUE
Prices out of the ordinary.
They charge you a 17% account fee. Don't come in, please. A dessert of those prepackaged that you pay 5euro in the other places from them almost 10 euros. Waiters screaming from one side of the place to the other. Do not be fooled just because there is the sea in front .. paradoxically you spend less in France

Nice restaurant facing the sea. Unfortunately on this day of high wind we ate inside. but that does not prevent the view of the sea. We took seafood spaghetti which were extraordinary a tiramisu and a bottle of water all for a very decent Award. The service is nice and fast good very good address

How can you spend 60 euros on your own for a plate of pasta with clams, a half-bottle of soave, a coffee and a grappa? It is possible to the Siren, thanks to the 19% service (without bread, ça va sans dire). Pros, because you always have to find some, the pasta wasn't so bad, and the restaurant is on the beach - although now, surely as a result of the storms linked to climate change, it is overrun with a varied mountain of wooden, metal and plastic waste. We dine under the hungry eye of pigeons and seagulls, who are generously given bread that, alas, was not brought to me. At 3.30 pm, you have to leave the camp, because the terrace closes.. An experience.

Service as bad as the dishes. Octopus salad: dried octopus, baked potatoes (!) sour and coming from some side dish from the previous days. Had it taken away (just tasted it) by a waitress who asked nothing about it. Let it be the the last of 107 xxmiglia restaurants is already a success for these pseudo restaurateurs

The 17% tax on the bill is disconcerting 🧐 then the 2 double espressos for 10 euros too, nevertheless the dishes are acceptable. I won't come back again...too expensive for the content. A tourist trap like at home on the Côte d’Azur, some beach restaurants take advantage of the setting.

My family and I came here as it was the first restaurant we came across after leaving the train station in Ventimiglia, and we were hungry.
The food was mediocre. The service was ok not great but not terrible.
When we were given the bill they added a 17% tip without our permission.
90€ for 2 pizzas, some fish and 3 cokes.
I would highly recommend going elsewhere. Save your money. The view isn’t even that great, on top of that we had a man come 2 times trying to sell us items.
